This will be a team reading challenge which will run from Feburary 1st 2018 to Feburary 28th 2018. Results will be announced on March 1st 2018.

This challenge is all about love and romance, simply read books which fit the categories, and enjoy!

Categories:
- A couple on the cover
- A man in a suit on the cover
- A woman in a white dress on the cover
- Flowers on the cover
- Envelope or greetings card on the cover
- Food on the cover
- A ring or jewellery on the cover
- A candle on the cover
- Hearts on the cover
- Wings on the cover
- An arrow on the cover
- A red cover (must be at least 60% Red)
- A pink cover (must be at least 60% Pink)
- A romance novel ('Romance' must be in the top 20 tags under 'genre' on the books Goodreads page)
- A book first published in February (any year)
- A book featuring an LGTB couple.
- "Date" in the title
- "Best" in the title
- "Heart" in the title
- "Love" in the title
- "Secret" in the title
- "Cupid" in the title
- "Kiss" In the title
- "Wedding" in the title
- "Forever" in the title
- "Valentine" in the title
- "Passion" in the title
- "Lust" in the title
- "Crush" in the title
- "Gorgeous" in the title
- "Flame" in the title
- "Ring" in the title
- "Trust" in the title
- Book with an average rating of 4 or more on Goodreads.
- 'New Love' - Read a book not yet published.
- Title starting with V, A, L, E, N, T, or I
- Title starting with F (for February)('The' or 'A' cannot be skipped)
- Author Name / Character Name starting with 'V' (for Valentine)
- "She's just not that into you" - Read a book shelved as DNF/Did-not-finish/abandoned (must be tagged at least twice)

Points:
*50 - 99 pages = 0.5 points
*100 - 199 pages = 1 point
*200 - 299 pages = 2 points
*300 - 399 pages = 3 points
*400 - 499 pages = 4 points
*500 - 599 pages = 5 points
*600+ pages = 6 points
(maximum of 6 points per book)
*Buddy reads DOUBLE your points score, so a 300 page book + buddy read = 6 points. 600 page book + buddy read = 12 points. (Bonus points for buddy reads will only be given if the buddy read has taken place in our group.)

Rules:
* This challenge will run from Feburary 1st to Feburary 28th, with results announced on March 1st.
*Books started before Feburary can be used, but you must only claim the number of pages read in February, and the book must still fit one of the categories.
*Buddy reads must still have a minimum of 4 comments to count.
*4 detailed updates can be used instead of a review.
*Re-reads are allowed as long as its been at least a year since you last read the book, and you write a new review or updates.
*Graphic novels and poetry books may be used, but must be posted in multiples of 300 pages, and will only receive 1/3 regular points, so 300 pages will be worth 1 point.

This challenge will be a team challenge. When signing up please let us know if you want to join a 'Serious' team (reading 12 books or more), a 'medium' team (reading 8-12 books) or a 'Just for fun' team (reading any number of books). You may also sign up as a solo participant

Just checking in about to start picking my TBR!

Hey everyone. I have started picking my TBR. I notice most of my books going to be the DNF, did not finish category. Hmm. Not much of a romantic reader and most of the thriller and fantasy books I read won't have hearts, love, lust, crush in the titles lol. But I'm keep on looking. But so far I got.

Since I'm halfway through Caraval, I want to make sure the pages I read this month count.

Off the PageSo I haven't planned my reads too much, but first on my list is The Loveliest Chocolate Shop in Paris. It seemed like a good indulgence book for Valentine's Day :-).

Hi everyone :) Here's what I have planned:
- technically, I started it on 31st Jan, but only read the character list and realised I need to read a summary of parts 1 & 2 and skim through the end of part 2, because I couldn't remember a thing.
So hope it can be counted.

Coming along good. Hoping to finish 2 more books that I'm reading. It's taking longer to read since I tend to read adult fantasy books a bit slower plus their both over 600 pages long woo lol.
