lethe | 16359 comments Librarians are users, just like you, and have no say in who gets to be accepted as a librarian and who doesn't.

You could ask staff for reasons for their decision: support (at) goodreads (dot) com , but they do say in the application form that you won't be notified if you are rejected.

It may simply be a case of having enough English-speaking librarians at the moment.

☕ Lachgas ♿  (lachgas) | 9386 comments And the duration of your membership isn't relevant for a librarian application.
But you can always try again after you were rejected - and if you can speak other languages that's always worth to mention in the application. I heard from librarians that got accepted on the second try.

(some books do have no covers because they have to because it's not possible to find one on an acceptable source and no one proveded a scan of his - but as Arenda mentioned you can always post here, others are happy to add missing covers)
