Shaitarn | 2185 comments This was a game on Facebook I thought we could play:

"You're about to be kidnapped. You only have time to contact one fictional character to come and rescue you.

Who do you contact?"

So limiting this to fantasy and sci-fi characters who would you pick?

I think the only rule we should have is you can only have more than one character if they always travel together (i.e., you could have Caramon and Raistlin Majere but not all the other Dragonlance companions).

Jocelin. (Jacqueline Carey). Hubba hubba lol

Diana Stormblessed (dashichka) | 5357 comments Kaladin Stormblessed. And he's honor bound to come save me no matter what.

Kakashi Hatake (Naruto) because he's very capable, and he is just the coolest person ever and I would love to hang with him. Plus he's hot for an animated guy LOL!

Saul the Heir of Isauldur (krinnok) | 209 comments One of two:

1. Conan the Barbarian because he can get out of anything

2. Geralt of Rivia, because he's just cool.

Oh... wait, Fantasy characters, not “who rescues you in your fantasies” 😂

Aragorn son of Arathorn all the way. Everyone knows he is my ultimate dreamboat, rescuing skills aside

message 7: by J.J. (new)

J.J. The Bloody Ninefingers from The First Law by Joe Ambercrombie
And he did have a group with so I also choose Ferro from same book

message 8: by Silvana (new)

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 1970 comments Poe Dameron. Pretty sure I can fit in his, uh, X-Wing.

Or James Holden or whoever from the Roci. Because they had a cool ship. And lots of coffee.

And Temeraire. Because dragon.

This is definitely a slanted towards the female population thread.

Silanah from Malazan. She's hot.

Sha | 1522 comments Iskierka. I would like to see my kidnappers burn, thank you. //Evil laugh

message 11: by Olivia (new)

Olivia (vinjii) | 1144 comments Mr. Darcy. The reply from me will always be Mr. Darcy. I’m a lesbian and my reply still is Mr. Darcy.

But since this is fantasy/sci-fi only I’ll go for: Sevro from the Red Rising books.

Mr. Darcy is forever and always the best :)

message 13: by J.J. (new)

J.J. Matrim Cauthon from the Wheel of Time. He was saving a few people in that series, Or Perrin Aybara from WoT.

I like Olivia's answer, crazy ass Zevro. He did rescue Darrow in one of he books.

message 14: by Barry (new)

Barry (boprawira) | 1212 comments Hmm... depends on the situation.

If we’re dealing with assassins with swords I’d take either Ferro or Logen and his gang.

If we’re dealing with assassins using guns, I’d probably take Vash the Stampede (Trigun anime/manga)

If we’re dealing with wizards, I’d call Dumbledore.

If we’re having space battles, yeah Sevro is my guy.

If we’re trapped, I’d ask Hermione and not bother telling her the trap isn’t real lol.

YES

message 16: by Cindy III (new)

Cindy III | 50 comments Tanith Low from the Skulduggery Pleasant series. She's cool.

message 17: by Anni (new)

Anni | 5066 comments I would choose Hadrian and Royce 😁 And I have no doubt they will manage everything!

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

I would go with Draco Malfoy. I believe that he isn’t really that bad and this would prove it.

message 19: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan Max Guerra, X5 #492 from "Dark Angel."

Saul the Heir of Isauldur (krinnok) | 209 comments Draco Malfoy, that's an interesting one! He'd probably do his best to prove himself. If we're talking about redeemable villains, I'd say Thanos minus the gauntlet/stones

message 21: by Karishma (new)

Karishma (karishmanewar) | 1619 comments Aragorn from LOTR.
