"Tevi, what are you doing here?" He asked. He was looking up at Tevi through his unruly white bangs and silently hating himself for asking such a stupid question. Tevi had wanted to see him. Of course Tevi would swing by in the morning it was such a Tevi thing to do, he wasn't sure as to why he hadn't been expecting it.

"Well, I was going to come see you and maybe go eat some breakfast, but I don't think breakfast would be such a good idea right now." Tevi gave Tobio as sympathetic look before taking him by the hand and slipping into the dorm room.
"You need to sit." He said softly and gentle sat Tobio back down on his bed.
"Do you have a fever?" he asked, suddenly all doctor like. Tevi was going to go into medicine when he was older, so he was totally ready to be a doctor. Plus, he had taken care of his sister when she got sick more times than he could remember.

"I don't even want to think about food." Tobio said. His stomach was churning as Tevi led him to his bed and sat him down. Tobio laid back and curled into a ball instead of staying upright. He felt the need to protect himself for some reason. Maybe from whatever virus or bacteria his body was trying to fight.
"Dunno. I've been too busy turning my stomach inside out all morning." He mumbled. The last time anyone had taken care of his was when he was ten and his mother had come in to check on them and they were both passed out wth fevers. Since then Tobio hadn't let anyone worry about him but he didn't have the energy to argue with Tevi right now.

"Sorry, won't even mention it again." He said humorously. He knew just how Tobio felt. Even the mention of food would probably make him want to puke again. Sitting down on the bed beside Tobio, he gathered up the blankets and covered Tobio with them. Tevi had a bit of a big-brother type personality. He always protected the people he cared about fiercely. Family, friends, anyone who he felt needed protection, he protected them (or at least tried). Leaning over slightly he pressed a hand to Tobio's forehead and bit his lip.
"Welp, you definitely have a fever. It might just be a one day thing though." Tevi said softly. He was still holding the damp towel, which sometimes helped with fevers since it cooled people off a bit.
"Do you want this?" He asked.

"Isn't it counterproductive even that you've already put me under these blankets?" He asked.A Tobio who wasn't sick wouldn't have asked that. Where his brother got testy and stubborn when he was sick, Tobio tended to end up delirious and asking dumb questions. Which is why he tended to seclude himself when he got sick.

"Well, the blankets are actually there to keep you from getting more sick, while the towel is there for you to be comfortable." He shrugged again, and put the towel down on Tobio's bedside table. Looking at him with a concerned look in his eyes, he brushed some of Tobio's hair out of his eyes and leaned back against the headboard of the bed. He wanted to stick around for as long as he could in case Tobio needed anything. Even though Tobio was probably one of those people who preferred to be alone when they were sick, Tevi wasn't about to just leave. He wanted to make sure that whatever Tobio had didn't get any worse.
"Do you want anything else? Some advil, or another pillow, or like a bedtime story or something?" He joked.

"How many classes do you have today?"Tobio asked, trying to sound competent. It was obviously the same amount of classes as usual, why would today make it any different?

"Same as always silly." He replied to Tobio's out of it question. It wasn't like he didn't have the same amount of classes today than yesterday. Vaguely he wondered if Sebastian knew that Tobio was sick without Tobio texting him. Just some twin intuition thing.

"Stay here and don't let the cat apocalypse come." He said, placing a hand limply over one of Tevi's. He sounded completely deranged. His brother tended to drag him on it later if he could remember.

"The cats?" He asked, just to play along. He was interested in knowing what Tobio was going to say, but eventually he decided that Tobio needed sleep. Squeezing his hand gently, he lay down next to Tobio and closed his eyes.
"You need to go to sleep okay?" He said, making sure that Tobio got the message even though he was totally not in a good mind space right now.

"Go to sleep sir." Tobio said. He looked at Tevi, his eyes seeing but not looking, there seemed to be a brie moment of clarity. Off understanding before they went back to delirium. He squeezed his eyes shut tight and eventually fell asleep.

((Don't know how I got here but I stayed for the gay))

"Tevi?" He called quietly. He knew he should be here somewhere. Unless he left. If Tevi wasn't here, it Tevi left he didn't want to know. He prefer to just stay curled up on the floor and probably fall asleep again. He didn't want to know if Tevi was gone. It'd hurt too much. Tevi was all he could think about right now, coherently that is.

Tevi had spent the next few hours reading, actually doing homework and texting people. He had missed most of his classes, but he had a good reason so he didn't feel bad about it. Not that he particularly wanted to go to class in the first place anyways. Eventually though he had drifted off into a light sleep since he had nothing better to do. He woke up to a dull thud and someone calling his name. Shaking his head to clear the sleep from it, Tevi realized that it was Tobio calling for him. Scrambling up he knelt down next to Tobio.
"I got you, I'm right here." He assured Tobio gently. He wasn't sure if it was a better idea to just let Tobio stay here on the floor, or get him back to bed. Eventually he decided that bed was probably a better idea.
"Come on, let's get you back to bed." Tevi managed to lift Tobio up enough to get him back to bed. That probably wouldn't have worked had Tobio been any taller, but he was ridiculously light, and a good few inches shorter than Tevi.

Tobio felt like he'd lost about fifty pounds with all the puking he'd done so he wasn't surprised that Tevi could pick him up. He never really was surprised, Tevi was both taller and weighed more which garnered more muscle. And all the sports he played must have helped as well. A wave of relief washed over him when Tevi grabbed him. He'd always pushed way peoples attempts to help him when he was sick but Tevi was different to him.
"I feel awful." He mumbled into his pillow. Whatever insides he had left were roiling and his brain felt like it was drowning. Drowning, but not stuffed with nonsense. He could finally think straight, more or less.

"I'm sure you do, I would too if I had spent the last few hours puking my guts out." Tevi said jokingly but softly. He was glad that Tobio seemed to be able to form a proper sentence that made actual sense now, rather than talking about the number 13 and cats. He wasn't sure if Tobio was ready to try and drink anything but he went to fetch a glass of water just in case. It was very easy for people to get dehydrated after being sick and he wanted to make sure that Tobio got some of the fluids he had lost back into his body.
"Do you need anything?" He asked with concern. He wanted to make sure Tobio was as comfortable as possible.

"The sweet release of death." He said, "Kidding, I'm kidding. Do you know where my glasses are?" He asked. He was going to get a headache if he kept squinting like this.

"Um, probably like 6 hours or something." He answered finally. It was probably closer to 6 and a half, but he didn't exactly know. Tevi paused for a tense moment to make sure that Tobio managed to get a grip on the glass without dropping it. Once he was sure that Tobio wasn't going to drop it, he looked around for his glasses. The joke about the sweet release of death, while funny in most cases slightly funny still put Tevi a bit on edge until Tobio assured him that he was joking. Tevi still didn't know Tobio's state of mind too well, and from the way he sometimes acted, he worried Tevi a little bit. Leaning over the side of the bed, Tevi scrounged around for a few seconds before his hands closed on Tobio's glasses that must have fallen off the side table.
"Yeah, here you go." He passed them to Tobio and smiled.

"A whole new world." He muttered. His room looked just as he'd left it last night. His books stacked on his bedside table, one of them was still on the floor. His sheets in disarray but still on the bed. The only thing seemingly out of place was Tevi. He looked ruffled and a bit undone.
"Are you okay?" He asked quietly. Tevi's red hair was hanging in his face and Tobio wondered if Tevi had caught whatever he had.
"Are you- Did I get you SICK?!" He cried.

Tevi wasn't used to getting sick as much as he had in the past few months. He was probably so tired from school, and personal life and sports that his immune system was a bit weaker than usual. Although, he should have expected it since he had just fallen asleep next to someone who had thrown up like a billion times. Shaking his head slightly Tevi frowned and pulled up one of the blankets around him. Now that Tobio mentioned it, he couldn't help but notice that his throat hurt and that his stomach did feel a little bit unsteady.
"No... i'm fine, just a bit tired." He said, but his tone was a little bit unsure.

"How does a citrus tea infused with ginger and a dollop of honey sound?" He asked from his kitchen. He pulled out a bottle of pills for nausea, took two himself and tossed the bottle on his bed for Tevi.
"Only take two." He said putting his tea kettle on the stove. He moved around the mini kitchen, minced a bit of ginger and found his mortar and pistol. He started grinding it into a powder.
"I swear this isn't as weird as it seems." He said, sitting on his counter.

"Tobio! You're still sick too. You shouldn't be up." He protested after swallowing two of the pills. Tevi was used to taking care of himself since he was the eldest. His father took care of him, but often he was too busy so Tevi learned how to help himself.
"Yeah, tea sounds good. But you should really come lie down." He said, regarding Tobio with a stern look.

"Tea, honey, ginger, and citrus. I could make you chicken noodle soup too but the way I make the broth takes a whole day." He said handing Tevi the mug of tea.

"Um, well, something about cats and the number 13..." He grinned at Tobio thoughtfully. Suddenly his stomach lurched and he put down the tea cup. Obviously drinking anything was not a good idea right now.
"Nope, nope, nope." He muttered before bolting to the washroom. This was not how he had wanted the day to go. He had been hoping for a nice day with Tobio, not both of them getting sick. He retched into the toilet a few times before sitting back on his heels and taking a deep breath.

"Gt it out, you'll feel better I promise." He said humming a song. Somewhere Only We Know by Keane to be exact.

"I'm so sorry... I didn't, I wanted us to have a nice day, I'm sorry..." He murmured with a pained look. He felt so bad. He should have been more careful not to get sick, he shouldn't have sat so close to Tobio. But he had only been trying to be kind and comforting. He listened to Tobio hum, focusing on the notes instead of how angry he felt at himself. He got a good two minutes of sitting in before he threw up again. He had already gotten sick this year, which was not a good sign. His coach would not be impressed if he missed a bunch of practices because of this. Neither would his teachers. But Tevi was doing pretty well in most of his classes so he figured that he would be okay on the academic side of things.
"I'm so sorry." He repeated eventually.

"Don't, you shouldn't apologize." Tobio said quietly, "I got you sick, I shouldn't have even let you into my room. I shouldn't have let you sit next to me or talk to me or be near me. Don't apologize when it's not even your fault. And don't ever apologize to me." He said. It was probably the most he'd said to Tevi without stopping before. It felt like a lecture to him. But it was a lecture that he needed to give because Tevi couldn't think that this or anything else was his fault.

"You are too good for this world you know that?" He said with a grin. Even though he knew that Tobio didn't take compliments all too well, Tevi forgot sometimes. He liked complimenting people because he liked making other people happy. But he had forgotten that Tobio didn't like them.

"Tevi no." He said. He hated it. He couldn't take compliments and hated that almost as much as he hated getting them. He couldn't take them. He wasn't worthy of them. His opinion of himself was too low for him to properly be able to accept a compliment. He could give them out with such ease. He just couldn't take them.

"Tobio, you're amazing. Don't you get that?" He protested, looking over at Tobio with a troubled look in his eyes. He didn't understand how Tobio felt. Well, he understood what Tobio felt but he didn't understand why. He didn't understand how little Tobio really thought of himself.
"I mean, sure you're not perfect but who is?" He added softly, his face folding into a look of pleading. He wanted, needed, Tobio to understand that this world was there for him, just as much as it was for everyone else.

"Tevi," he whispered, "That's not how this works." He said trying to hold himself together. He picked his head up and dragged a hand down his face under his glasses. He ran a hand through his hair and rubbed his eyes.
"I can't- this isn't- it's not- ugh. I can't even talk. I don't know whatI'm trying to say, just. Just no Tevi, I can't- it's not something I take because I can't have it? Does that make sense?" He asked looking desperately at Tevi.

"No, I don't get it! You're kind and sweet and caring and everything else in the world that is wonderful... so why can't people tell you that?" He protested.

"Tevi I'm not though, that's Sebastian. Sebastian is sweet. Sebastian is caring. He's everything in this world that's wonderful. He's the sun. He's warmth. He's flowers and love and sugar and happiness and everything I'm not. I'm shadows and sadness and cold and wind and ice. Tevi, I'm his shadow and nothing more than that. I've lived inches shadow my whole life. I've becomes shadow and I'll never not be his shadow." Tobio pushed his fists into his eyes. He was shaking, trembling like a leaf, sobbing too now. He was crying so hard he could hardly breathe, his breaths were ragged and harsh.

"Yeah, you're right. You are wind and ice, but I like that. So many people like you because of that. You don't need to be sunshine for everyone, you just need to be you and that would be good enough." Tevi said breathlessly. People got burned in the sunshine like the sun of Sebastian. But Tobio was the beautiful wind, and the cozy feeling of drinking hot chocolate on a cold evening. In Tevi's mind that was much better. Finally though he realized that Tobio was crying and his eyes widened slightly.
"Oh my god, i'm so sorry." He whispered, throwing his arms around Tobio. He hadn't meant to upset him.

"T-tevi, I don't understand, h-how you s-s-see that. Y-you're the only one wh-who sees me l-like that." He choked out. Tevi's arms around him only made him cry harder.
"You w-wouldn't even b-b-be saying this if y-you weren't s-s-sick." He said, crumpling, as if cowering from the weight of the world.

"I'm sure Sebastian agrees with me. And Autumn, and Victoria." He said firmly, smiling hopefully.
"Maybe I am saying this because i'm sick." He said with a thoughtful shrug.
"Maybe i'm saying this because I have wanted to say it since the first time I met you, and now i'm just to tired to hold my tongue." He replied evenly, giving Tobio an honest look. It was true really. Tevi probably would have had enough energy not to burst out and say that, but he was sick and tired so he had just gone out and said it.

"They might agree but they'll think Sebastian's better." He mumbled. He didn't know how or why Tevi liked him. It bugged him a bit that he didn't understand something like this but he tended not to understand most emotional things anyways.
"Tired," He murmured back, "Let's get you back to bed then yeah?"

Tevi stayed where he was, wrapping his arms tightly around Tobio until he finally stopped shaking as much. It broke Tevi's heart to see Tobio crying, and even worse, he couldn't help but feel like it was his fault. He shouldn't have tried to push the whole compliment thing. He should have just left that whole problem untouched. But he was tired and he had lost control of what he was saying, and now he had hurt Tobio in the process. But luckily Tobio didn't seem to feel that way, and hugged him back, which made Tevi smile just a little bit. Deciding to let the comment about Sebastian slide, Tevi finally managed to get to his feet, pulling up Tobio with him. He was feeling just a little nauseous and a little dizzy, but he could manage it.
"Yeah, bed sounds good." He said softly with a smile.

"Here, sit down." He said slowly lowering Tevi to the bed. " think you should stick with water if anything right now." He picked up the mug of tea. Maybe it was too strong. Too much ginger? He set it on the counter of his mini kitchen. He considered the mini kitchen his. He considered basically the whole room his. His roommate had never shown up here once. He picked up his phone from the counter.
"Sebastian wants to know if we'll be attention the Spring Fling later." He said. He didn't't know if Tevi wanted to go but he was sure he had to be there for his brother.

"Yeah, sure. I don't have anything to wear though." He said eventually. He really did want to go to the Spring Fling if it meant spending time with Tobio.

"It's just black and gold and we can go shopping if need be. But I'm not letting you go anywhere until you're not sick." Tobio said filing the rest of the pot with water. It was lateen the evening and he put the pot on the stove to simmer with a top on it. He tossed the salad and put half into a container he'd take to Sebastian's room later. He'd already made things for breakfasts and lunches, he was working on dinners now. Salads, sandwiches, soups. The three dinner Ses.

"You must be a really good cook!" He exclaimed as Tobio tossed a salad. He obviously wasn't making all of it for himself, which led Tevi to the conclusion that Tobio must make food for Sebastian too. That made his heart melt even further. Tobio was probably one of the kindest most caring person in the entire world.
"Black and gold. Ooh, sounds cool." Tevi replied earnestly. Black was usually his base colour with colourful accents, black and gold always looked good.
"Yeah, maybe I should just sleep for a... while." Tevi said, already feeling drowsy. Smiling lazily he kept one eye open to look at Tobio.
"I think I have a bad tenancy to fall asleep around you." He joked quietly.

"I don't know if I'd say good cook so much as someone who cooks often." He replied stirring the broth he was making. He knew there was going to be a lot more than what Sebastian could eat and figured Tevi would eat it.
"I'll make you sweets an stuff when you're better." He said. He tapped the spoon on the side of theft for the excess to drip off before setting it on the counter and turning around and walking to his closet. He'd almost forgotten.
"Yes, black and gold is an easy color scheme." He said pulling out his black "Kiss the Cook" apron. His brother had one as well but he didn't cook as much. It was one of their twin birthday gifts. His brother wore his so anyone could see the words but Tobio tied his at the waist like a barista and folded the top inside.
"Well, I've found that when we've been together and when you fall asleep, we've tended to be in calming environments. A book store, for instance, with crisp pages full of stories and fresh coffee being brewed. And now here, a warm comfortable dorm room. And you're sick whilst being cared for. I think either of those is enough to make anyone tired and-" He stopped, realized he'd been rambling. "And, and that's all." He finished quietly.
