Yes! I knew you were full of smarts

Or this. Lots of options.

And this works too.... I may have a plan. I may sleep on it and see if I find hole in it. But we may be able to kill a few things on card 2. As long as Pragya and Poongothai are good with their reads. I am sure they are, but just haven't heard from them for a little bit (besides the conference thwarting our plans).

Next to Beagle's book I can do one more, perhaps even 2. I normally wouldn't be a..."
Get well soon, Laura. I have never had adult chicken pox but I know people who have and they all said it was a complete misery. Take good care of yourself and get plenty of rest.

We get someone to read the family drama book (I can if with Travis on my proper name book, but finding a book with it listed as a genre is hard, will have to ask for ruling).
Then we go down the middle column. So Travis' West Cork can do mystery, we have a free book (could move Casceil's food book to that square), an england book (easy), and author begins with "T". Seems pretty simple and flexible?

Zero at the Bone - It works for Title starts with Z, and Set in the US
The Gentleman's Captain - Is there a square for mind numbingly boring? It works for Standalone, Historical fiction, and Set in England.

I'm starting a book for Author starts with T.

I'm not sure if I will be able to start my third book tonight but if not, I will dive into it tomorrow.

Lisa, Poonagthai has reported for Male author, so you are off the hook for that square if you wish.

Or I could do Option B which could work for non-fiction, free space, or new release. Do you have a sense of which way I should go?

And thank you Rusalka. 😘
I am lucky and have a relatively milder dose. Shingles seem horrible and I hope to never get them. I'm real sorry for your mum. Hope she won't get them again. And honestly, I think a pulled back may be much worse. (*ouch*)

Don't know if it would work but just in case:
If we move Jmom's Tender with a Twist to Hat on the Cover on Card 2 and Beth could take the Non Fiction one we only need a Set in the US and Any book which are easy to do. And 1 row is full.
Romance would be left on card 1 but we can easily do that.
We already have Author's name begins with T so we would only need a Set in England to fill that column too.
In other words we would need to read for these categories:
Romance - on Card 1
Non-Fiction - Beth
Set in US
Any Book
Set in England
Set in US - can be fixed by moving Jmom's book from Begins with Z but if we want to finish that column also we will also have to read:
Family Relationship in title
Set in 1900
Hope it helps.

I'll be done with my Snow on Cover in another hour or so and would like to choose something else that is shorter and lighter. Snowbrother is horrible!!! Rape and flesh eating and other stuff like that. Chief warrior women who are ruthless, filthy, stinking and utterly disgusting at times. Yuck!!!

In that case we only need 1 Free book to fill up that row. Poongothai has just finished 1 that fits for Person with Hat and we don't even need to move Jmom's book from Romance.

I am 20 pages from finishing my first read. I have two flights today so hoping to put a dent in the second one too.

Okay. I was going to read my next book, English Animals, for the animal on cover task but it will fit several tasks on Card 2. Or I could read Letters from Skye for the epistolary task on Card 1 instead? Is anyone reading or going to be reading a book for that task?

In that case, I will stick with English Animals and we can just use it for Card 2. Or even Card 3 if we get that far.

Left on card one, and who is scheduled. Could you please check in how you are looking
First book in a series - Laura (hopefully finish tomorrow)
Epistolary style book - Poongothai (reading)
Female author - Pragya (reading)
Proper name in title - was Rusalka, but now Travis?

I'll start from Animal perspective next but I would need something else also. I normally read 2 at one time.
Which category still needs reading?

I have said we need to prioritise rows and columns but reads aren't quite matching up with that.
At the moment we have Beth finishing up the top row, with a family drama (thanks Beth). We would then have 3 books in the middle column, so just need free book and England. Sounds like Jmom is currently heading to England.
Then we could move to the middle column. Someone read a US book, Beth's non-fiction read, and either have another hat read or move one of the books on card one to card two and replace that read.
Then go to the far left column, as there would only be two reads left on that one with Jmom's Z read.
But. Up to you guys.

Okay, in that case I will take the set in the US task. I will read The Couple Next Door instead of English Animals.

Awesome, thank you.

And I could also read Eight Cousins- which would go for both classic and family relationship in title.

Awesome, thank you."
No worries at all. Might as well go for as many points as possible.

Or if no one has claimed Set in 1900 till now, I'd like to take that.

I'm reading for it. Will complete in one or two days

Awesome, thanks

Got it now. Sorry, you said you were going to finish, not that you had.

Go for this one.

Laura, I saw you had an option for that too, so let us know what you go with.
I will not be on here for the next 8 hours or so.

By that time both my first in series and Animal perspective will be done.
I'll also take 1900 with The Winter Ghosts. Both that and Eight Cousins are short reads and I won't have any problem finishing them.
