Katie | 9 comments In dystopia books, I feel like we're getting the same plots over and over with renamed characters. Reccommend some great unique dystopia books! Give us a breath of fresh air! Xx

Sorry Katie, I didn't see your post sooner. Here are a few that I believe fall into that category.

The Farm (The Farm, #1) by Emily McKay (Paranormal Distopia) Mystic City (Mystic City, #1) by Theo Lawrence (Fantasy Dystopia) Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer (Science Fiction/Fantasy/Possibly Dystopia)

I'll try to think of some more.

Bonnie Shades of Grey

Haven't actually read it yet, but it sounds good

Sparrowlicious Hmm, unique?
I think Moxyland by Lauren Beukes was sort of unique with it's 'the companies own everything', contrary to 'the government controls everything'.
I Am Legend by Richard Matheson Imho still pretty much unique.
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline With it's love for the 80s this book is probably very much unique. But I think the 'most of this is in a cyberworld' thing has been done before. It's a very geeky book.

I recommend any of Neal Shusterman's books, but especially the Unwind trilogy starting with

Unwind (Unwind, #1) by Neal Shusterman

MJ Codename: ♕Duchess♕ (heyitsthemj) Blake Crouch's Wayward Pines trilogy.

Michelle (to-whatever-end) The Testing (The Testing, #1) by Joelle Charbonneau Kinda like the hunger games.
What's Left of Me (The Hybrid Chronicles, #1) by Kat Zhang About two souls in one body.

Rika-sama | 22 comments I would second Ready Player One as unique.
I read and liked Unwind but would not condider that unique.

Nor previously suggested: I liked Red Rising but not very unique IMO. Maybe the Wool books? I liked those.
