Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy Addicts discussion

Hi all!

I love the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout, the Fallen series by Lauren Kate, and the Hush Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick.

I am looking for more books/series that are like these! I haven't finished the Lux series yet and I'm excited to finish, but in the mean time I'm trying to stack up my TBR with like books.

Jennifer Armentrout is one of my favorite authors and I loved the Lux series. If you haven’t read her Apollyon series too you totally should. Another great series is Scarlett Dawn’s King Hall series although I’m not thrilled with the spin off series. Annette Marie has several good series. Steel and Stone may be a good one to start well. Karen Lynch’s Relentless series is also really good. For a little darker try Stacey Marie Brown’s Darkness series. Also love Cassandra Clare’s The Mortal Instruments series. Maybe check out Amy Bartol’s Inescapabale series. It’s angels and a huge intertwined epic adventure! And the romance is greeeat.

I love the paranormal, it open so many doors for a writer.

I've read both series, and love them. My only real complaint is that both authors always, always leave at cliffhangers. End the story, then go onto another issue/problem in the next book. Don't be a writing hack that forces her audience to buy the next book by leaving her heroes dangling.
