75 Books...More or Less! discussion

Starting Feb 17, Claire and I are reading Sing, Unburied, Sing! If you would also like to join in, you have a week to get your hands on the book, in any format!

Great book! I read it as an ARC from NetGalley and was blown away by it.

I've already read it too - it was so good! A 5 stars from me too. Enjoy!

I'm excited to read it!! I picked it up my local library this weekend, I didn't want to lose it by this Saturday. On Overdrive I was 42 of 10 copies! lol.

I just have to finish Shadowsong and then I'll be starting Sing, Unburied, Sing!

I looked to see if I could jump in on this book. It looks like it is a series though...darn!

What are your first impressions, Claire? Mine, well I'm not crazy fond of English when it's not proper so it's a little hard for me to get into. It's definitely Southern speech. I'm hoping to get to page 50 tonight.

Hope it settles in for you, Elyse. I found the dialect really effective in this one.

I really like it. The dialect doesn’t bother me, but I’m a not native speaker, so that could be the reason. I’m trying to get the first chaptre today

I'm about halfway through now and am getting into it. I feel like the dialect hit me hard at the beginning but now I'm getting used to it.

Oh, I’m not that far yet. Hope to have some easy time to read. I really like it, but notice I can only digest it if I can read uninterrupted

I completely agree! I have to have my undivided attention on this one.

I haven't really read much since the other night but I plan on finishing by tomorrow afternoon since it's due back to the library and I don't want to renew it/it might have a hold on it. :)

I understand. I have it on my ereader, but hope to get it finished by next week.
