Like how once, there was this painter guy, and someone asked him to paint something, but he was too enamored with this woman to paint so he kept sneaking out ... and the patron was really upset to he locked him in his house, but the artist was so desperate that he tied his bedsheets together and climbed out the window.

Like they tell you about Petrarch but forget to talk about how he was enamored with this girl and wrote her a lot of poems ... and they tell you about ... Machiavelli ... but forget to talk about the pazzi conspiracy and how it effected him and then the Florentine Platonic Academy and Lorenzo de Medici's awesomeness and how his son hated him so much and murdered two of his friends ...

I'm not obsessed with the entire renaissance just the not-so-humble beginnings in Florence and the Medici, my favorite family ... some people like the Tudors but nope I love the Medici - that is, not the Grand Dukes of Tuscany, the Lords of Florence :)

i know people are skeptical but having an obsession with history is common i went though a phase when i had roman charts on my wall and posters on my wall about the roman armies and all i would talk about is stone henge or the saxons or the romans...

I'm learning Latin! Slowly! It's so hard.

But yeah... I guess the history geeks don't tend to rp.
