PugMom (nicoleg76) | 2014 comments I have some picks but one of the titles escapes my brain at the moment. In 3 hours I will be on vacation though so I'll have plenty of time to rest my weary head LOL

Nicole (nicolevickers) | 1814 comments Under an English Heaven by Alice Boatwright is my nomination....I think I had one more but I don't recall what it was right now, lol!

Whittled my list as promised and added the two PI's picks. Maybe we could just vote off this list. (If there are more before cutoff, I can just pop it onto this lineup).

Under an English Heaven by Alice K. Boatwright
The Mitford Murders (Mitford Murders #1) by Jessica Fellowes
Dinner Most Deadly (John Pickett Mysteries, #4) by Sheri Cobb South (My bad on a few of my noms. Sorry, PI's!)
The Crêpes of Wrath (A Pancake House Mystery #1) by Sarah Fox

Good heavens! Too many choices! Murder Most Deadly sounds interesting.

PugMom (nicoleg76) | 2014 comments They all sound good from the descriptions. I'm wondering if previous books in the series need to be read first.

I agree, Pghfan. This one's been on my list for a while now. But, yes, there are many and they all sound good!

Thank you, Nicole, Allison.

Pghfan and Kaya, sorry. Just indicate if posts were to be counted as votes. You can also weigh in on side read if you like.

So far we've:

Two - Under an English Heaven

Two - Crepes of Wrath

Two - The Mitford Murders

And if we do a side read: Under/English Heaven or Dinner/Deadly. (I'd even go w/1st in latter series to try this author's stuff). Two weigh-ins on a March side read.

Wasn't previously noted but may be a good idea to give side read a nod or a no.

Looks like we'll have a side read in March. ;-)

March's process is anything but boring. Thanks, gang! All votes in by tonight? Is that okay with everyone?

If we'd more time, I'd say one main and two sides but I think that's a challenge for most of us.

In event of three-way tie (we've everyone in?) there are a few ways to handle this - * Do a run off for main title. If tie's broken, 2nd most votes is side read. * Or do a main read and a side read vote. * Or run one main, two sides and we'll just participate in those we care to. Stipulation on three books is that there's a host per title. We can schedule like we did Feb. or similar. We overlap anyway so that shouldn't be a problem. We'll just go to book thread we're interested in.

For myself, I like idea of two books for the month but would be up for three. I'd be participating in at least two, possibly all three.

I'd be up for 2 reads for sure, maybe 3 if there was interest from others.

I'm for three as well, Allison with Under English Heaven as main read, with Crepes 1st side read up and Mitford getting the grand finale as 2nd side read. Can we get hosts for these titles?

Host for main read runs traditional breakdown and side read hosts can run them as they like. Does this sound like a plan everyone can get with?

The Nicoles have it!! Thank you, PI's NicoleG and Nicole! Much appreciated!

Kaya, would you like to give running Crepes of Wrath discussion a try? It'd run near March end. No stress as you pretty much can host it as you like. Break it down in chptr. chunks, or half story in two sets of chptrs. or just open discussion? No pressure. (If no, I can handle it). Thought I'd ask. ;-)

March is lookin' so good thanks to The PI's!! I best get on securing my copies. ;-)

A tweak in March schedule:

Under English - first up, Late Feb./early March
Mitford - 1st side read, mid March
Crepes - 2nd side read, last week or so in March

Hosts, readers, let me know if this doesn't work for anyone.
