This is the discussion thread for A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle Chapter 7-9

Finally this book is getting interesting! Stuff is actually happening.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it's been a struggle so far. I'm pretty sure I will not go see this movie...maybe watch it when it's on netflix. It's too mindbendy for me, if that makes sense.
For instance, I love Professor X as portrayed by Patrick Stewart in the movies. So when Marvel announced a tv series based on his son who also has mental superpowers, I was so there...amiright? Wrong! Spent the whole first season trapped inside the surreal universe in the mind of someone who seemed mentally ill. In Wrinkle in Time, I feel trapped, so far, inside some bizarre alternate reality and I just want these kids to sprout superpowers and DO something

I am so glad it wasn't just me...I am probably going to see the movie because based on trailers, it's not really that much like the book.

Still thinking this book is slow but at least something is happening. There is not enough going on for my taste though and it is not really holding my attention.
