Good, it was a tough choice....after everything else I wanted to pick one that seems to have decent interest, sounded good, and was at least available on kindle if not at the local library.
When are you announcing the next diversify book choices for March?

I ordered A Ballad of Georg Henig from ILL so that is the one I will read. I read Titus Groan a while back so will not revisit that one.

I am currently in Hay-on-Wye, otherwise known as "The Book Town". There are almost 40 independent bookstores here, for new, used, and rare books. So if I can find Georg Henig anywhere it will be here!

Georg Heinig is fantastic, and well worth reading if he can be found!

If anyone would be interested in splitting the cost on the Ballad book let me know. You may keep the book afterward and resell it if you wish. I would pay $10 to read it but not $20.

I was not a fan either, so I never started Gormenghast which I own.

Anita, I ordered Georg Henig from UK Amazon and I expect to get it by mid-March. I want to send you if you wish after I read, you don't need to pay me anything. Only problem is that I don't know how long it will take for a book to be delivered from Serbia (Europe) to your place. I guess it could take a while...

This is available at the University of Iowa library. I bet you could get it through ILL , or make a road trip. Anyone who lives in Iowa can get a card there, since it’s a state university.
I have previously read Titus Groan and Gormenghast so will not be revisiting I can get Ballad for £12 from Amazon UK but will have a look round see if it is cheaper anywhere else my library as usual don't have it.

That's good to know... unfortunately, my little bitty town library doesn't participate in ILL or even in the Open Access Program so that I could use one of the larger libraries nearby. I'm not sure if it's worth the road trip when I can just order it.

Thank you so much! If you identify a used copy and go that route I would be happy to share the cost! If you go another route I believe I have a plan B . . .Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness!!!

Hay-on-Wye is just on the Welsh side of the border with England. It's an amazing place! Turns out I didn't find Georg Henig there (but I did find The Roots of Heaven, which I've also been looking for, so woohoo!) I've ordered a copy of Georg Henig from amazon, for £12 or so, because Hay has made it hard to stop buying books. LOL (And I found so many good deals there, so I figure I can spend a bit extra.)

I've heard Titus Groan is good too.

PM me your email address.

Tracy, I sent you a PM and a friend request.

I could moderate for Ballad for Georg Henig if needed. I've already read half. I don't think I can create the thread though, some glitch with my email.
