(Aww she is cute! So what are your ideas for the plot?)

(i was thinking we can go supernatural on this? like your character could be a king of a race but my character is a human with a power that has been protected by a tribe until she is given to the strongest king species?

(Oooh I like it a lot! What kind of supernatural species do you want to go with??)

(every kind!! HAHAHA we like in a world where everything lives!! so if you have a king species you want then we'll use them as the center of things

(Sweet! Okay so I have been dying to have a character that is a warlock but not like it's the male version of a witch thing but like dabbles in dark arts and magic kind. Ooohh and they could have a mafia kind of feel to them in the supernatural community!)

(yeah yeah we can totally do that! and my girl could be like a magnifier of powers so that's why everyone wants her as a bride)

Rue:

I wasn't a fan on this whole arrange marriage, not that i had the knowledge of having a fiancee all these years. The temple where i was raised was extremely strict on me, but i always managed to slip through the cracks and have my own life in the normal mundane world. On a summer night is when i met Stefan... damn it if a man can't stop being sexy even with the misunderstanding of a reputation of being a womanizer is him.

But now i'm in a black car forced to meet a man i had no knowledge off in his estate. Instead... I could have be with Stefan spending our first night together... I didn't care if i was wearing clothes that didn't make me look saint like. I had high waisted daisy dukes and a crop top button shirt that showed my slim curve and decent cleavage. I'm making my kind of impression

Tony

"Sir, your fiancée will be here soon." My right hand man and assistant, Jamie, tells me as I look over the leads on a possible supernatural selling warlock goods on the black market. I mean honestly did these bastards think they could steal from us and not be punished for it.

I rub my temples and look up at him. "Alright, just take her to the library and I'm meet with her there." I tell him getting up. "I'm going to get a shower in before she gets here." I say in the hopes it with help relax me.

Being the head of a species was not easy especially when you get the bomb that you have a fiancée now. My parents had apparently arranged it years ago before my father's passing. She would have been one of his playthings but since he had passed and I stepped up into the role as head. She was now my headache.

Rue

Finally i looked out and saw the estate, it was huge bigger than four of our temples combined. It's like whoever lived here not only were they loaded but they had family money. I was in awe just a little bit. I'm not one of those wine and dine girls but... i have to admit this is a lot for my taste.

the car completely stopped and i was forced out by the glares of the body guards. I didn't care when the light breeze of spring blew my hair out of my face.... i'm just seventeen and when i turn eighteen in two months... i'll be married to whoever is attached to this place.

"Welcome Miss Dawn, master will see you soon please follow me." A butler of some sort came to greet me not looking at my outfit maids came to get my stuff and i walked inside.... if outside was ridiculous, inside was redonculous. I couldn't stop gawking until they tossed me in the library... damn he has a lot of books
(with that but without the puffy coat)

Tony

I talk my time in the shower just letting the water run over me. I tried to look at the positives here. She was attractive from what few pictures I had seen. I was only eight years older her, compared to my fathers forty two. Overall this was just an arrangement. She was an asset to my kind, that's all.

I finish up with my shower and get dressed. I dry off my hair before Jamie knocks on my door letting me know she was here. I sigh and head down to the library.

As I walk in I spot her looking around at all the books. "You must be Miss Dawn." I say sitting down in a chair. "I'm Anthony Patricks. Your fiancée." I tell her.

Azure

I looked behind me when i heard the door all of a sudden open up and i see handsome young man walk in. His sort of wet blonde hair wasn't tamed. He looked relaxed and composed and way too business like for him to be okay about this arrangement.

"And you have to have a shorter name than that Mr. Patricks, but alas I hope that after i'm done speaking to you, your name should not matter." I said going ahead and sit down in front of him, standing straight and looking at his eyes.

"This arrangement I want to annull, I've never heard of you until now i have never heard of you... I'm not what your clan would want." I said

Tony

She looks back at me and says that I have to have a shorter name them that but she hopes after she is done speaking with me that my name wouldn't matter. She sits down in front of me, sitting up straight as she looks me in the eyes.

The pictures I had seen hadn't done her justice. They didn't capture this. That determined look in her eyes, the swell of her curves as she keeps her head held high, her sweet scent that drifts my way.

She tells me she wants to annul the arrangement since she'd never heard of me until now and she felt she wasn't what my clan would want.

I chuckle and shake my head slightly. "I didn't know about you either. The arrangement was originally suppose to be between my father and you but with his passing, the arrangement falls to me." I explain to her.

"As for my clan, you are exactly what we want."

Azure

He was handsome, his crystal like blue eyes were enticing and could easily lure pray into his hands if he were a beast. But that air around him... there was power there was something i couldn't explain. What Stefan has is an aloof bad boy vibe. What this man has is something else it's confidence its.... its weird but alluring that's for sure.

"Well that's slightly more disturbing but i digress. Mr. Patrick I have someone that means the world to me. He is the one i love and want to be with. I don't want to break things off with my lover for an arrangement i had no say. I don't want any part of this supernatural world." I said to him, remaining my calm so my powers don't... make a scene

Tony

She tells me that is slightly more disturbing but she digresses. She explains that she has someone who means the world to her. He is who she loves and wants to be with so she doesn't want to break things off for a arrangement she had no say in because she wants nothing to do with any part of the supernatural world.

He chuckles as he leans back in his chair crossing his leg over the other. "Well that is unfortunate, Miss Dawn but that doesn't change things. We have an arrangement. One that I might add that I reviewed and rewrote from the previous one my father had."

My father's arrangement contract had be tacky and perverted. She would basically act as her plaything, calling on her whenever he felt the need to. He didn't even have plans for her power just to keep her as a sign of power.

"The arrangement states now that in exchange for marrying me that you are entitled to a certain amount of money. I will almost provide food, clothes, and anything else you wish within reason. You are also welcome to explore any part of my manor minus a few private places." I explain to her and smirk.

"As for your lover... funny how you use that term instead of boyfriend like you humans do to label your relationship. As I am to understand a lover tends to be more of a sexual relationship. So that leads me to think that it is one sided since you tell me that you love him yet you don't call him your boyfriend or even fiancée. Tell me, Miss Dawn does he love you back or does your exclamations love fall on deaf ears?"

Azure

I was basically blushing red but of irritation. What they he’ll have they put me in. I was going to be a sex toy to fucking warlock. Who the hell does that these days? Here I thought that it was about power but now I hear it was all just a contract for me to his entertainment and amusement. I was slightly fuming and I found almost feel my power easing out of me.

“Mr. Patrick I don’t want to offend you even when you’re obviously having fun pulling on my strings right now. But my relationship with my human is of no concern of yours. I came here as a courtesy in hoping we could have a resolution to this dilemma. It’s a much better option than me sneaking out of your estate in the middle of the night.”

Tony

She blushes red and looks pisses with me. She tells me that she doesn't want to offend me even when I'm obviously having fun pulling on her strings right now. She goes on to say her relationship with her human is none of my concern and she came her just a courtesy.

"I think you misunderstand what I am offering you, Miss Dawn. I'm willing to give you a comfortable life in exchange for having access to your power. As for your lover." I say slightly crinkling my nose at the last part.

"You will need to break it off as soon as possible. If not you would be in breech of the arrangement which mean anyone in the supernatural community can claim you. So unless you wish to be pursued by some truly disgusting people. I would take this arrangement seriously."

Azure

I didn't like how composed he was at all when he actually tried to tell me that he would give me a cozy life style but honestly that's not what i want. That is never what i wanted. I don't want my life to be placed in a silver platter and i just accept it.

There has to be more in the world than a hand cuff that's linked to a man i have never met nor do i have intentions of falling in love with him. I calmed down my glare a bit and just shook my head.

"I can't believe that supernaturals are willing to just give up warmth and love over to power. It's quite depressing... so what i be your faithful wife while you go off and have multiple affairs?" I said to him looking at my hands and thinking about a small prophecy i remembered of our lineage.

"Besides, don't you want to know if we're even compatible? I am sure you have learned the history of my kind, our mates powers growing in a chaotic rate until eventually your driven to madness and destruction. There were rulers where the power didn't consume them and indeed become great rulers and their powers were strong but stable." I reach out and place my hand up and just wait. "If we touch and both our powers aren't compatible then this room might have a negative reaction to us."

Tony

She glares at bit as she shakes her head and tells me she can't believe that supernaturals are willing to just give up warmth and love over to power and it's quite depressing. She adds so what she'll be my faithful wife while I go off and have multiple affairs.

"No, if you become my wife I don't intend to sleep around but I also don't intend to bed you. Love is consider a weakness for leader of our kinds. Something that can be used against us." I tell her.

Azure:

"You see that's the thing... I never wanted that. I want a life filled with love, passion, and adventure. All i'll ever be to you and any other supernatural is a game piece for your petty pissing contest." I tell him that and just looked away from him.

"With Stefan... I feel all those three things and i am not going to give them up for you. Someone who doesn't even see a life outside of power." I said an just about when i was going to pull my hand away he touches me. His lands links with mine and i feel this rush of warmth and sparks running through my veins.

I gasped a little taken by surprise this sensation of fire works when all of a sudden i see the scattered pieces of paper around us start to float off the ground and with such ease floated around us until they morphed into these puffy white feathers around us.

"What..." I lingered not knowing what to say

Tony

She tries to argues that her human gives her what she wants, a life filled with love, passion, and adventure. That with me she is just a pawn in my game and she wouldn't give up her human for that.

As out hands link together a rush of warmth rolls through my veins. She gasps as pieces of paper scatter around us and then they change into white fluffy feather as they float around us. she looks shocked as she says what.

"So what's your opinion, Miss Dawn? Are we compatible?" I ask with a raised eyebrow as I run my thumb along her knuckles.

Azure:

I looked back down at him and i just huff in disapproval, god i hate how condescending he is. I have never met anyone that would react in this way. I snatch my hand away from his and i just stood on my feet almost faster than my own heart beat.

"Well i was looking forward for some thunder storm but our powers are compatible not us. So if you don't mind I want to leave this estate and see my boyfriend." I said to him wanting to regain posture as much as i could. I just didn't want to go through this battle of the roles here.

He obviously didn't care about me and i wanted to be there for Stefan.

Tony

She looks at me and snatches her hand away as she stands. She tells me she was looking forward to some thunder storms but just because our powers were compatible, we were not. So she wanted to leave and see her boyfriend.

"No." I say as I stand looking at her. "We just proved that our powers are compatible and regardless if we are or not you will remain here." I tell her firmly.

Azure:

I looked at him straight in the eyes unafraid of him and not caring at all what he thought of us at this point. But the determination in is eyes led me to believe that i really didn't have a choice in the matter at this point.

There was this moment of silence as i stared right at him and i tried to relax as best as i could. "Where's my room." I said in a ridiculous sharp tone.

Tony

She looks me in the eyes as a silent moment passes between us. She asks where her room is in a sharp tone. I nod softly and call for one of the maid.

"She'll show you to your room. If you need anything just ask and she get it for you." I tell her as the maid ends the room.

Azure:

I storm away from the library not wanting to even think about my stupid fiance anymore. The maid was smart enough to actually lead faster than she normally was doing right now. I went on ahead and closed the door behind me hating the fact that was locked in here. I looked at my put away stuff and i immediately went to find my jacket before i opened the window of this room.

I closed my eyes and focused on becoming invisible until i opened my eyes and sure enough i was gone. I climbed down the window. Landing on my feet i took off until i escaped the estate and left towards the city... Stefan... please wait for me

Tony

I sigh running a hand through my hair as she storms out of the library. Such a stubborn girl. Any other female of her kind would be more then thrilled with their arrangement.

He goes back to his study to finish his work. It isn't long before Jamie tells him that Miss Dawn's room is empty. I sigh and nod. "It's fine. She'll be back." I tell him knowing she would be.

She didn't understand that without my protection supernaturals would hunt her down for her power. They would do what ever to have her in their possession and use her in undesirable ways.

"Have Sebastian follow her and alert me if she is danger." I tell him.

Azure:

It took me a couple of hours until i managed to get to the city. It's much more less stressful now that i knew how close i was in being with Stefan. The word's of my fiance were nothing that i was dreading or anything. Stefan loves me, he has told me countless of times and has shown it.

When i get to the underground clandestine bike races i see familiar faces and some of the guys had finished a race. I felt much more relaxed. This was me, just underground and rough around the edges.

I go to Stefan's tent walking in on him... making out with a girl and undressing her. I quickly turned invisible and covered my mouth that wanted to cry out.. He went on took his clothes off and that's when i ran. Ran away from the clandestine site until i found myself in the deserted docks.... well that stupid fiance had a point...

Tony

Sebastian sends me hourly reports of where Miss Dawn is. His lately one telling me she was heading into an underground clandestine bike races. I text him to stick close and make sure no other supernaturals go after her.

About fifteen minutes later I get a text saying she was at the docks seeming upset over something. I sigh and tell Jamie to bring my car. I drive to the docks and get out of my car, looking for her.

I found her pacing, looking like she wanted to cry. "Miss Dawn it isn't safe for you to be out like this, especially at nice." I tell her.

Azure:

I stayed quiet thinking back on Stefan... he was always so nice and gentleman like. He was my first kiss. He was the one that made me realize that there was more to life than all this stupid supernatural nonsense. A tear did manage to slip down my cheek when i hear his stupid voice.

I looked away not wanting him to see me as i wiped away my tear and just didn't say anything when he expresses worry for his tool. "We were... i was suppose to be in this last race. Be his lucky charm and win with him.... we were going to... he was suppose to be m first."

Tony

She is quiet, turning away from me. Her voice sounds small and hurt as she tells me they were well she was suppose to be in this last race and be his lucky charm and win with him. they were going to, he was going to be her first.

"He betrayed you." I say softly scenting the hurt that radiated from her. Before I even realize it, I draw her into my arms and hug her softly. "I'm sorry to hear that. It is cruel and heartless for someone you love to hurt you like this." I tell her trying to comfort her.

Azure

I was shocked because I didn’t realize that he had actually pulled me in and held me to him. I was taken by surprise but he somehow was soothing me just a little bit. I hold onto him and I start crying in his chest. Hearing his attempt to cheer me up and for a bit I didn’t say anything but I just took it.

I think I cried for a few more minutes until I managed to croak out something. “I don’t regret it. Even if my heart feels like it’s ripkng to pieces.... it’s something my feelings were real. I don’t want a marriage where I can’t even mourn for a broken heart even.” I said to him

Tony

She holds onto me and cries into my shirt. I rest a hand on top of her head as she cries just holding her, letting her get it all out. She croaks out that she doesn't regret it, even if her heart feels like it is ripping to pieces. She says she doesn't want a marriage where she can't even mourn for a broken heart.

"I will not stop you from grieving, Miss Dawn." I tell her. "You are free to do so but under our arrangement we will not have a relationship. You will be my wife only in name I can't give you anything more then that and a comfortable life that you are free to do what you want within reason." I say.

Azure

I listen to his reason but he still doesn’t understand me at all. He’s only thinking about himself and his strength and power for having me. I pulled away from his arms and I looked at him straight in the eyes. He can see the hurt in them still but I had strength.

“I’m not saying that I want that from you Anthony. I’m saying that that’s what I want... I am not okay with saying good bye to the one part of me that makes me human. I don’t care if I have to be on the run as long as the person destined to be with me is by my side.” I whispered to him. Taking his hand in mine feeling our powers sync together. That light buzz rushing my veins.

Tony

She pulls away from me and looks me in the eyes, the hurt shining in hers. She tell she is not saying she wants that from me and she is that's what she wants, she is not okay with saying goodbye to the one part that makes her human. That she didn't care if she had to be on the run as long as the person destined to be with her is by her side.

She takes my hand in hers and our powers sync together once again. "Why run when you could be safe? I could do that for you, Miss Dawn. I could keep you safe from my world. I just could love you." I tell her.

Azure

I don’t know why he was so desperate in keeping me by his side. I mean I knew he wanted me for the sake of his rule and his power. But he could just easily take me away lock me up and forced me into this marriage. He’s actually trying to have me just accept this role. He cares for me to be okay in living this life with him.

“Love is safety Anthony. I know your kind doesn’t believe it but love is home. It’s life. It’s strength and when all fails it’s hope.” I look down at our hands and I link my fingers with his and I close my eyes. Showing him telepathic memories of my mother and my human father. My mother had run away from the temple and lived life with my father. I show him memories of her face and her looks when she was with my father. I want that radiance. I want that happiness I want that love.

“I can’t say good bye to love Anthony. Not like you.”

Tony

She tells me love is safety and she knows my kind doesn't believe that but love is home, it's life. She says it is strength when all else fails it is hope. She looks at our hands and links her fingers through mine. Her eyes close and images start to pass through my mind. An older woman who looked like her. The look of love crossing her face as she talks with a men.

Azure tells me she can't say goodbye to love, not like me. "If... if I try to love you. Will you stay?" I ask her, needing her to stay. I needed her power to stay as head of my people but I also felt this need to keep her with me.

Azure

“Anthony... that’s not what I mean...” I whispered to him. I didn’t understand why he was so desperate to have me with him but one thing is certain. I don’t have anywhere to go especially not with Stefan who was a liar and a cheater.

I looked back down at our hands and I couldn’t manage to let him go just yet. “It’s getting late and you’re right we have to go back or else you might get attacked by near by supernaturals.” I whispered to him trying to get to my feet

Tony

She tells me that's not what she meant. He sighs frustrated that he couldn't understand what was going on in that little head of hers. She looks at our hands and whispers it is getting late and I was right that we needed to get back or I might get attacked by others.

"Alright." I say helping her to her feet and guide her to my car. I make sure she buckles up before I pulls away from the docks and drive back to my manor.

Azure

I looked right back at him letting him move me along so I was sitting down next to him. I didn’t say anything during the ride to his manor and I honestly wasn’t trying to pry or anything. He personally came for me and in the end that’s all I could ask for at the moment. I turned to look at him and I but my lip a little.

“I appreciate you trying hard to have me stay with you the nice way... but love is instantly. A spark that happens when you first touch that person. That heart skip when you kiss them for the first time... I hope you get to experience them one day Anthony.”

Tony

She is quiet on the ride to the manor and turns to me as I start to pull into the garage. "Love is weakness to my kind. We don't love, we use. Everyone is just pieces on a board to be played." I say gripping the wheel and sigh looking at her. "Please, stay. I know you felt that connection when we touched earlier in the library." I say softly.

Azure

“You’re not the only species that sees love as a weakness you know. It’s a little sad but it’s nothing I wouldn’t think less of.” I whispered to him when I was about to get out of the car he tells me to stay with him. I looked back at him seeing him slightly flustered when he mentions that spark earlier in the library.

I was at a loss of words. Just a few hours ago I was madly in love with Stefan and now... “that spark could be confused with anything. I mean it could mean that our powers just clicked and got in sync.” I whispered to him. I didn’t move away though not knowing what to say.

Tony

She whispers I'm not the only species that sees love as weakness and it was sad but nothing she would think less of. She looks back at me and whispers that could be confused for anything, it could have just meant our powers clicked,

In an impulsive action, I reach over and cup the back of her head, kissing her. Damn how long had it been since I touched another person without causing them pain. How long since I felt the soft sweetness of a kiss.

Azure

I was taken by surprise. I was expecting him to say a snide remark and something to make me just roll my eyes or something. But instead I got his lips on me. It was odd that spark was there and my heart started beating hard against my own chest. I sighed trying to catch my breath. But I reached over and cupped him close to me.

Our lips molding perfectly against one another and that rush of something running through my veins. I move my body so I’m closer to him until I somehow ended up on his lap. Kissing him as my hands cupped his face. It was... intoxicating a different kind of thrill. Completely different from Stefan

Surprisingly she kisses me back, drawing me closer to her. I continue to kiss her and soon she is in my lap as her hands cup my face. I tangle my fingers in her hair kissing her deeply.

Jeez, my heart is beating fast and I am craving her like she is air. I can't seem to draw myself away from her. I had just kissed her to prove we had a connection even if I couldn't love her, I needed her to stay with me.

Azure

I pulled away from his lips needing air to breathe even if right now my cheeks were flushed with heat at the moment. When I looked at his eyes I finally saw some kind of spark in them. It was different than the first time we met at the library. I didn’t move away from him just yet until I cleared my throat.

“This doesn’t prove anything... I’ll stay because I have no where else to go but you can’t marry me until I turn 18.... so until then we can try to be cordial towards one another.”

Tony

She pulls away panting for air and honestly I am doing the same. Her cheeks are flushed as her eyes meet mine and she clears her throat a little.

"Of course." I say nodding in agreement. I gently lift her up as I open the car door and help her out of the car. "We should get you back to your room. It is late and I'm sure you are tired." I tell her.
