Fanni Bajnoczi (banci) Hey everyone! :D

I'm trying to complete the Popsugar Reading Challenge this year, but I just can't think of anything for most of the points. So I need some help to find good books that pass for one of the criterias below:

- A book involving a heist
- A Nordic noir book
- A novel based on a real person
- A book about a villain or antihero
- A book about death or grief
- A book with your favorite color in the title (this is purple or pink or any shades of the two i.e. lavender, violet, rose, etc...)
- A book about time travel
- A book set at sea (I would love something about pirates :D )
- A book set on a different planet
- A book with song lyrics in the title
- A book about or set on Halloween
- A book with a female author who uses a male pseudonym
- A book that is also a stage play/musical
- A book about feminism
- A book about mental health
- A book about or involving a sport
- A book from a celebrity book club (where do I even start looking? o.O )
- A childhood classic
- A book set in the decade you were born (1990's)
- A book that involves a bookstore or library
- A book with a time of the day in the title
- A book with a weather element in the title
- A book by two authors
- A book with an animal in the title
- A book set in a country that fascinates you (I chose Scottland or England.... or anywhere in the Brittish Islands)

I'm open to any help and looking forward to ALL of your great ideas! :D

Maartje De Groot | 69 comments The books by Lizz Braswell are about Disney villains. Or the ones by Serena Valentino.

They both die at the end or Everything Everything or Letters to the lost are books about death or grief.

The strange and beautiful sorrows of Ava Lavender or The color purple for favorite colour.

A wrinkle in time or the Outlander series are about timetravel.

Unhooked is about Peter Pan, so pirates assured.

Maartje De Groot | 69 comments The Phobos books by Dixen are set on Mars. Or The Martian.

The color purple is about feminism.

Fanni Bajnoczi (banci) Oh, these sound great, I will take a look at them! Thank you! :D

Carrie | 8 comments - A book involving a heist
The Wake of the Dragon about airship pirates who steal a shipment of opium that had already been hijacked by a crooked businessman. Steampunk and great fun!

- A book about a villain or antihero
Jack Dawkins About the Artful Dodger from Oliver Twist, all grown up with new skills and trying to work out which side of the fence he wants to be.

- A book about time travel
Time Shifters First book in a really good series about a people who live among normal society but have the ability to shift through time or across distance. The rules of time travel are really well handled in this.

- A childhood classic
Toby Tyler, or Ten Weeks with a Circus
Thomasina
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
There's a wealth of good books in this category!

- A book that involves a bookstore or library
Dewey the Library Cat: A True Story
Could also count as true story.

katherine (an_everyday_penguin) | 47 comments I definitely recommend Six of Crows for villain main character (it also works for book involving a heist), They Both Die at the End for death or grief, and The Foxhole Court for sports. You could also read The Crucible since it's a play, or you could always just read Shakespeare.

Hanna (hannasw) | 78 comments - A book about a villain or antihero
Heartless

- A book about mental health
Furiously Happy: A Funny Book About Horrible Things (or at least I think this counts :D)

Ellen Valladares | 2 comments I love these categories! So my suggestions for a book that is also a stage play/musical would War Horse, The Secret Garden, and Wicked. Love them all!

Also, looks like you have some great suggestions for the death category but I'll throw my new book, Crossing the Line, into the mix.

- A novel based on a real person - Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness
- A book about a villain or antihero - Vicious
- A book about death or grief - They Both Die at the End (I just read this and I agree with the others, it's devastating but so so good), Hold Still

- A book about time travel - Return Once More, The Girl from Everywhere
- A book set at sea (I would love something about pirates :D ) - Daughter of the Pirate King
