Looking for reviewers interested in a novel adult dark fantasy book. Explores themes of identity, racism, nationalism in a medieval setting. Features action, adventure, swordfighting, political intrigue, a little sex, and a unique world mechanic. One where traits - their looks, skill, memories, emotions, etc. - are contagious to various degrees, able to spread from one person to another, or stored in inanimate objects.

So a skilled warriors sword and armor will hold his skills and perhaps even his strength, giving it to whoever wears it. And a wise man's bones might confer that wisdom upon whoever stays near them. A madman's skull or belongings could drive someone mad, and so forth.

And in a world where the main character is half-black, half-white (like my son), a kingdom that prides itself in its Nordic heritage reacts very poorly to a protagonist whose very race might be contagious!
