Marion Adams | 3 comments Hi everyone!
I’m very happy to have found Devon Book Club, thanks to Twitter! I’m a Devon-based poet and author, and I’ve been writing since I could hold a pencil. I enjoy writing in a variety of styles and genres, and my published work includes both fiction and non-fiction as well as poetry. My latest publication is a children’s picture book called ‘Go To Sleep!’ published by Full Media Ltd, and I have several more books in the pipeline.

As a freelance editor and proofreader, I read for a living, but I also read for pleasure. My reading tastes are as varied as my writing styles. I love the classics and literary fiction, and I particularly enjoy a well-written psychological thriller, especially if I really can’t see the twist coming. I’m also a fan of good historical novels and I love the Shardlake books by C.J. Sansom. I’m currently reading How to Stop Time by Matt Haig, which is absolutely brilliant.

I’m looking forward to exploring the discussion boards and being part of this community.

Marion Adams | 3 comments Thanks, Ian. I'll do that. Thankfully, the snow is thawing here today.

Yes - I work in adult social care and have been flat out last 48 hours with my colleagues getting care out across the county but thankfully all safe and well

Certainly has but we are getting back to normal now thanks to a huge effort by care agencies, care workers and communities, who all rallied together to get to people in most need.
