Does the number I choose correspond to the month I think that theme should be? Or is it a scale of interest...?

Sure :) it's scale of interest. With 1 being most interested. This system means the genres/themes that the most people are the most amount of members are interested in will be put in.
I actually changed the wording in the poll to make that more clear. I realized after you said something I didn't really explain.

March - Action and Adventure
April - Thriller
May - Historical Fiction
June - Comedy
July - Romantic Comedy

I have a survey set up for next year and there is a section for any suggestions not listed as options :)
The link at the bottom of the first post is the link to the survey. I believe most of the ones you listed are already on the list of choices

With this ranking system 1 is the most interested, and higher numbers mean less interested. This system means the genres/themes that the greatest amount of members are the most interested in will be selected.
It is set up to where you can only take it once so choose carefully. At the end of July I will announce which genres will be featured in which month.
In November or December I will do this again to select the themes/genres for the second half of 2019. This survey also includes a place to write in genres or themes I missed and if they aren't mentioned enough to get picked for this time around, I will be adding suggestions in the survey for July thru November of 2019.

If you voted for July-Novembers themes it was the old survey. It should be fixed and should say that its for those months on it. Sorry, everyone!

It’s not supposed to let you add any themes to the list. The second question is asking if there are any genres that were not on the second survey or the first you feel should be. On the first survey I asked the same question and the couple that were mentioned were added to this second survey :) if something is mentioned enough times in the second question it could get chosen as a genre of the month.
