Thanks Spacepig/Lez. :-) Unfortunately I've overslept so I'm behind schedule, I'll add some info this afternoon if that's ok. In the meantime I'd like to nominate this song featuring Thierry Sintonni and Liz Fraser wannabe Sandy Casado on vocals. Hi everyone. :-) The band, Rise And Fall Of A Decade, were active between 1988 recording their first album 'Rise And Fall Of A Decade' in 1990. Three more albums; Noisy But Empty, You Or Sidney, and Forget The Twentieth Century, were released over the next 7 years. Their style of music for me is melodic indie pop, though I'm sure other labels to describe them have been bandied about and are more accurate in their description, (where's Helen when you need her?)Sadly one of their band members, Pierre-François, died of cancer in 2007 and the band have since split up, For anyone stuck for a nomination, they have a best of album called 'Yesterday, Today, And Tomorrow, and here is a link to it with the songs. A bit later than I planned tonight, we'll put that down to a quite amazing performance from Huun Huur Tu, then getting home just in time for all the fuses in the house to trip on us.We battle on, and we have a winner this evening - taking the gold, Tim's nom, Mistake. Tech is back on the podium where he belongs, grabbing the silver with Pure Hands. And I think that third place on the podium should be big enough to squeeze Lez and myself on there for our noms Wings Of Desire and Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow.
I am not sure that TheFoe has won many new fans for this band, but its always good to see some more obscure acts in here.

Update on my Mammothfest judging career - due to time restraints, the first round, my round, has been cancelled, and the participating bands have all been spread out and added to the other rounds. My moment in the spotlight appeared to have been lost but no! I have been allocated the second semi final instead :-)
