That's ok, yesterday was a busy day and today I'm just sitting on the couch not doing anything! lol!!

mom(view spoiler)[ it's odd that she's so obsessed about the house. that mention that it's like The Shining made me laugh Do you think that's the route this book/plot is going? (hide spoiler)]

Dad(view spoiler)[ I think he's dead. I'm not sure who killed him but I don't think he's still a live (hide spoiler)]

house(view spoiler)[ is completely creepy! and I love that all the kids watch horror movies and don't even care! lol (hide spoiler)]

Scavenger Hunt(view spoiler)[ this seems like a really bad idea. her mom seems so twisted
and I hate how the kids have lost track of days. I hate that her hair was so greasy. It almost seems like THIS FAMILY isn't really there anymore...that they are the ones haunting the house (hide spoiler)]

Mom (view spoiler)[ I keep thinking it's the house that has her under a spell or something. I mean who in their right mind would live in a house where part of it was burned and only have a plastic tarp up instead of actually having someone come out a fixing it?!!!? I think I saw a review that said it reminded them of The Shining.

Hey did you watch the Oscars? The reference to The Overlook Hotel reminded me of the commercial they aired during the awards show. That was the best part of the night in my opinion! Loved it!! Now after that commercial and this book I want to watch it again!!

I didn't but it sounds good!!
I actually re-read The Shining with a book club (we all actually did the audio book and it was AMAZING!) and then we all watched the movie together! It was good to watch it again! :)

You should look it up! It's probably on YouTube. It was hilarious!! They even had a phone number to call! I called it but it said that they hadn't set up a voicemail box. People on twitter said that is was really weird and creepy.

I'm about half way now, I'll have to finished tomorrow.

I know! I wanted to like it more. It was looking like it was going to be pretty good and then it just didn't. Now i'm kind of bummed.

I'm keeping an eye on the BR requests to see if there is anything that I just can't refuse to pass up. lol!
