The Hunt for Komodo Cracker tells the story of Thomas Faraday, a Montreal network security professional whose network was infiltrated by a hacker called Komodo. Komodo does not steal or hold the network hostage instead he leaves encrypted files for Thomas to find. At the same time, a secret religious league with time travel technology finds a 2500 year old Persian stela that identifies Thomas within its coded message. Both the encrypted files and the coded stela lead Thomas to accept an assignment with the secret religious league to go back in time to the Persian Empire of 473 BC. While in Persia, Thomas and his fellow time travelers discover that the secret league was not being honest with them. They must now abandon the league’s objectives, solve the mystery of the encrypt files and the Persian stela all the while being dragged into battle and fighting off betrayal.
