The date of the final memorandum???

I listened to this book, so I couldn't see the date that was written on the final memorandum from chancellor Paige. It read...232.4.10...what does that mean???? I was trying to figure out what year the author envisioned this series.

Wow, I didn't even notice that! I always imagined the series to be in the future, but this means that it happened in the past, because the year is 232, month april (4), and day 10 (or maybe the month and day are switched? Not a huge difference).
