I just remember she wasn't paying attention around her & the main guy (shifter maybe dragon or wolf) surprised her & she pulled out a large sword from her back (tattoo?) I think she was looking at all the books in his large Library, want to say she's a curator/someone who mends books/helps writers. Only came out in the last few years or so.
It was a supernatural romance
