Not Problematic? discussion

I'm pausing for a day or two at chapter 8 to reflect. It's easy to just blaze through these books, it seems, and I want to stop and reflect a little. Particularly on the relationships Norton has with Orlene and Fate. Also, I remember now that Sning is one of my favorite things from this book, but re-reading it, he's one of the things I hate the most. I might do a separate thread on JUST Sning, though.

I'm about a third of the way through it - it's been slow. I like Sning, but some of the way it functions doesn't make any sense to me. Or rather, why he wouldn't just ask Sning questions, it would solve so many issues Norton has with the world building. The ghost is the one that drives me crazy right now...
