A Fatal Grace Glad that I took the time to read this before The Cruelest Month as I was getting quite confused. Very enjoyable to see the way Penny sustains and develops the various character relationships from book to book.

Always always always read your series in order. But especially this one.

Finished Bluebird, Bluebird by Attica Locke. It won both the Edgar & Anthony awards for best novel. The atmospheric writing is really nice, the mystery was just a bit cliched. Rating - 4/5.
