Lucca Gianni | 1 comments O'neil Sharma The White House by O'neil Sharma

Just finished reading this book and really liked it. A very interesting premise with a detective that suffers from Alzheimer's, so he has to solve the crime before he forgets everything.

RJ - Slayer of Trolls (hawk5391yahoocom) I recently read Black Wings Has My Angel by Elliott Chaze Black Wings Has My Angel by Elliott Chaze, which is a beautifully written yet often overlooked post-WWII noir crime novel. I loved it and gave it 5 stars.

I also finished Night Passage (Jesse Stone, #1) by Robert B. Parker Night Passage by Robert B. Parker, this first in Parker's Jesse Stone series. I liked it and gave it 3 stars.

Aditya | 1893 comments Finished In the Midst of Death In the Midst of Death (Matthew Scudder, #3) by Lawrence Block by Lawrence Block.

As I keep switching between James Lee Burke and Lawrence Block, Matt Scudder seems Rocicheaux-Lite to me in a good way. However people who find Burke's writing dense might as well find in him a more streamlined version of Robicheaux. Rating - 4/5.
