PattyMacDotComma | 585 comments Popular Aussie news journalist (among other things) Tony Jones has successfully added thriller writer to his "among other things" with a great read, The Twentieth Man. It's based on true Aussie events, but there's plenty of artistic licence making for an exciting novel. Loved it!

Eeny Meeny sounds interesting. I'll try to find a copy.

Never too late to start reading Harry Potter, I reckon. =)

I read a book every 2 days or so (when not too busy), so I fail to update this thread. =D

Judith Janeway (judithjaneway) | 6 comments I’m reading The Gentleman from Moscow for my book club. I have two days to finish it. It’s very well written. Don’t think it’s classified as a mystery but definitely has elements of the genre.

Denise Mullins | 516 comments Just started "The Dry". So far, it's heavy on atmosphere with little plot, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

message 209: by Aditya (new)

Aditya | 1893 comments Finished Every Dead Thing, first book in Charlie Parker series. New series off to a rocky start, felt it contained every cliche in the genre known to man. Read too many thrillers, I guess would be more appreciative of mediocrity a couple of years back. Rating - 2/5.
