Popular Aussie news journalist (among other things) Tony Jones has successfully added thriller writer to his "among other things" with a great read, The Twentieth Man. It's based on true Aussie events, but there's plenty of artistic licence making for an exciting novel. Loved it!

Currently reading FINAL GIRLS by Riley Sager. I’m less than 100 pages in, but like what I’ve read so far!
I’m reading The Gentleman from Moscow for my book club. I have two days to finish it. It’s very well written. Don’t think it’s classified as a mystery but definitely has elements of the genre.Judith~Janeway
I am reading We Other by Sue Bentley who is local author from the town I live in. I highly recommend it, both for the novel itself, and to support local authors!!!
Just started "The Dry". So far, it's heavy on atmosphere with little plot, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
Finished Every Dead Thing, first book in Charlie Parker series. New series off to a rocky start, felt it contained every cliche in the genre known to man. Just read a classic Agatha Christie Hercule Poirot mystery, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. You don't need to have met the little Belgian detective before to enjoy this clever whodunit!

Just finished the second DCI Erika Foster book from Robert Bryndza. It was pretty good as a mystery but I have issues with how he frames his main character.
I finished The Tokyo Zodiac Murders and just started The Outsider by Stephen King
Just got done reading thisHide Away by Iris Johansen I like it but her series IMO is getting stale Its not as good as it use to be
You Will Pay by Lisa Jackson I really loved this one IMO this is her best book in years!

Finished Half of Paradise, Jame Lee Burke's debut novel. It is a predictable tragedy and Burke's writing does not hit the highs he will later hit in his career. Recommended only to Burke fans. Rating - 3/5. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
