As an Olympic rookie, Andie Foster has spent far more time in her cleats than between the sheets. For 21 years, her Friday nights have consisted of blocking shots rather than taking them. But now that she's landed in Rio, she's ready to see for herself if the rumors about the Olympic Village are true:

• The athletes are all sex-crazed maniacs...
• The committee passes out condoms like candy...
• The games continue long after the medals have been handed out...

As Andie walks the line between rumor and reality, she's forced into the path of Frederick Archibald, a decorated Olympic swimmer and owner of a sexy British accent--too bad he's unavailable in a way that "it's complicated" doesn't even begin to explain.

In other words: off limits.

It doesn't matter that he has abs that could bring peace to the Middle East and a smile that makes even the Queen blush; Andie fully intends on keeping her focus on the soccer field. But the Village is small. Suffocating. Everywhere Andie goes, Freddie happens to be there--shirtless, wet from the pool, and determined to show her a whole new meaning of the phrase "international affairs".

(view spoiler)[Oh boy is Andie a crappy person. I get that she is young and wants to have fun. However, you are there for the Olympics. All she wants to do is get laid and party. If this was college then I could understand. YOU ARE THERE TO PLAY SOCCER. Plus she is really terrible to her teammates. No need to be rude to them because they are married. Clearly you DO need to be watched. You are one bad decision after another. This book is going to be long and painful because I HATE the MC. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I'm disappointed in the lack of actual sports in this book. I knew the romance would be a big part. However, considering he is supposed to marry someone else the fact they are sleeping together says little about both of them. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[The good thing about this section of the book is Freddie's sister Georgia. I like her. However, I do not like Caroline. Surprise what do you know she is crazy. I don't know if I find it funny or sad that after all that Andie ended up injured. spoiler> (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[This was a difficult read. i'm not surprised that Caroline lied about being pregnant. That's just the type of person she is. Thankfully everything worked out in the end for Andie and Freddie. (hide spoiler)]

I want to see more of the viking rugby players though xD Maybe if I'd read Scoring Wilder I'd feel different, but I actually dislike Andie's teammates. I think she's definitely allowed to have some fun while she's there and the others are being controlling and unfair considering they did the same. I don't like the whole Freddie and Caroline thing, cheating always makes me uncomfortable. (hide spoiler)]

42% (view spoiler)[ Hm. I'm waiting for Caroline to show up. I wish they talked about their first match in more detail, I'm not even sure what position Andie plays in. I do like them together, and I'm glad Freddie is already trying to break off the betrothal. (hide spoiler)]

79% (view spoiler)[ I do hope Caroline is lying, I didn't even realise they'd had sex. She's so despicable. I love Georgie though, she's my favourite character! I'm so glad Andie got to play the final game. And we finally saw Gareth and the other vikings again! Yay! (hide spoiler)]

Done, and it's not my fave RS Grey novel by a long shot, but I did like it more than The Allure of Julian Lefray.

Will start tomorrow. Have to finish other book today. :)

(view spoiler)[ This book is hilarious. Kinsely and Becca are really funny with their overprotective older sister relationship with Andie. I liked seeing Liam and Kinsley again from Scoring Wilder. I like Freddie, but he is seeing other girls while he is engaged. I get that it is an arranged marriage, but still. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Now everything is starting to hit the fan. Caroline showed up, Amdie can’t play anymore, and Freddie hasn’t called off his engagement yet. I really hope he does that soon. I like him and Andie together. (hide spoiler)]

18% (view spoiler)[ I’m not heaps liking the characters so far and feel like there’s a lot of humour intended but I’m not finding it amusing.

It’s so crazy how Frederick is betrothed to Caroline without even consenting as such. I understand that he is a duke and that tends to happen, but it’s just crazy.

I find Andie’s friends annoying how they are so reluctant to her going out and meeting people, when they have settled down and probably don’t understand her single life. But I also am finding Andie a little desperate when it comes to Frederick, or even the guy she just met at the party. (hide spoiler)]
