April 19, 2024- East Flanders Province of Belgium- Cuberdons- a cone-shaped candy from Ghent...also known as "Ghent nose".
April 21- East Flanders Province of Belgium- Ghent Waterzooi- a stew with a soup-base of egg yolk, cream, and thickened vegetable broth. The stew itself contains fish or chicken, vegetables including carrots, onions, celery, leeks, potatoes and herbs such as parsley, thyme, bay-leaves and sage. Ramiro had the chicken variety and I had the fish.
Belgium- Cornet beer.
April 22- Antwerp Province of Belgium- Duvel beer.
Belgium- Koninginnenhapje- a Belgian chicken fricassee.
April 23- Belgium- Croky Sweet Indian Curry chips.
East Flanders Province of Belgium- Kwak beer.

Belgium- Moules-frites- Mussels served with fries- the NATIONAL Dish. Mine were prepared in a delicious garlic broth.
April 27- German state of Baden-Wurttemberg- Spaghettiieis- a sundae designed to look like a portion of spaghetti- vanilla ice cream is extruded through a modified Spätzle press or potato ricer, giving it the appearance of spaghetti. It is then placed over whipped cream and topped with strawberry sauce (to simulate tomato sauce).
Turkey- Lahmacun (also known as Turkish, Armenian or Lebanese pizza)- a Middle Eastern flatbread topped with minced meat (most commonly beef or lamb), minced vegetables, and herbs including onions, garlic, tomatoes, red peppers, and parsley, flavored with spices such as chili pepper and paprika
