Book Concierge (tessabookconcierge) | 8414 comments When Anita posted the list of 300 most popular tags from Goodreads, it reminded me that I hadn't updated the spreadsheet that I keep.

Looking through it I suddenly noticed that since July 2017 we've chosen tags that begin with either 'A' or 'S'
Jul-17 Award winners
Aug-17 Space opera
Sep-17 American
Oct-17 Society
Nov-17 African-American
Dec-17 Social Issues
Jan-18 Science
Feb-18 Asia
Mar-18 Autobiography
Apr-18 Strong Women

Hmmmm ....
Can we keep this string going? Will a "Gothic" or "Western" make its way to the monthly tag come May?

Jenni Elyse (jenni_elyse) Ha ha ha! That's funny and so interesting. I wonder what will happen come May.

I know the tag selections for May. Anyone want to place a wager on the likelihood that the "streak" continues?

Ha ha, I try to do all the PBT organizational tasks shortly after the first of the month - - calculate the participation points, draw the winner of the GC, identify the person choosing the member choice tag, set up the survey in preparation for mid month, etc.

This month's member chose the tag really quickly that (s)he wanted, so I'm ready to go!

Then everything rolls along pretty smoothly for the rest of the month, but I will say it is hard to wait sometimes . . .other months, I pretty much can guess what will be chosen because I really know the members pretty well, lol. May is not one of those months though . . .

Book Concierge (tessabookconcierge) | 8414 comments Joi ... other than "Sandalone" (I assume sTand-alone) all the other tags you suggested are in fact in the top 300! But I have no idea what the randomizer has chosen, and Anita's not talking!
