The Messenger of Athens

I read Three to Get Lei'd.
It's the third book in a series, and it is set on the island of Kauai. It is also an extremely silly book. But funny.

I read Haroun and the Sea of Stories

I read Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers, Vol. 3 for the "Lucky Number" task.

Great book that is a direct continuation of the previous one, it kept me on my toes from beginning to end. 4 stars.

After a false start of Holding (I thought it was very poor writing) I read The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and loved it! I'm afraid I will be adding it to my ever growing list of 5 star reads for this year, I'm only sorry it took me so long to get around to it!

This book meets the criteria of being Kristies favorite colour as , according to tinEye, it is 100% blue 😄

I read The Box Garden, which fit the sisters task. (I thought it might also fit the gardening task, but it didn’t quite). Even though the book is quite dated, Carol Shields’ writing is always a treat.

I read The Colorado Kid for lucky number 13. It read like a longer short story or novella and I really enjoyed the storytelling and characters.

I finished my book Rain Reign. It has a blue cover and a dog on the cover.
