Roquelaure (Anne Rice) (ebook), The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving (serial reader), Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling (physical book), two books for school/work - Teaching What Really Happened: How to Avoid the Tyranny of Textbooks and Get Students Excited About Doing History by James W. Loewen and What Every Teacher Should Know About Pass the Praxis II Test: Principles of Learning and Teaching by Christina Shorall, two comic books - Wolverine: Origin II and The Walking Dead Issue #179, I'm trying to get through Shakespeare's play (through Shakespeare app on Richard II) and Edgar Allen Poe's stories (on Hop-Frog on iPoe), three books I have started and put to the side (NOW4A2 by Joe Hill, The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon, and City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare), and one book to further my knowledge in my field -American Gospel: God, the Founding Fathers, and the Making of a Nation by Jon Meacham.

I'm a history teacher and am off for the summer so I am catching up on my reading for the year!

Carlos Ruiz Zafon is an amazing writer!! His Cemetery of Forgotten Books series is one of my absolute favorites!

I also adored the Alice Network. I could see BBC making a mini-series out of it. I did some reading about the actual role of women spies during both the Great War and WWII. Interisting topic.

Lisa (lisafriel) I have just started This Is Not My Life: A Memoir of Love, Prison, and Other Complications by Diane Schoemperlen. It has been on my TBR list for a while.

I am also reading "Mastering Affluence" by Carol Tuttle. I was lucky to be selected to be on Carol's pre-launch team so I get to read it early. It will be released this fall.
Carol's previous books The Child Whisperer: The Ultimate Handbook for Raising Happy, Successful, Cooperative Children and It's Just My Nature! A Guide to Knowing and Living Your True Nature were amazing.
