The Outsider Stephen King. I can't stop reading this book! Fantastic.

Just finished Next Year In Havana. Great historical fiction about the Cuban revolution and present-day Cuba.

We Were the Lucky Ones, by Georgia Hunter. It's been on my "to-read" list for way too long!

Just finished " The death of Mrs Westaway" by Ruth Ware which I ADORED!!! Bit of a slow start or maybe my mood but really came up with the goods including a satisfying ending not just a fizzle out like with so many thrillers. Added bonus, bucking the almost obligatory format of then and now, or different characters designated their own chapters - this mystery all told as a linear timeline perhaps because this book's well thought out plot and brooding, escalating suspense did not need any extra twists . Now reading Brighton Mermaid by Dorothy Koomson ... another one I might have given up on had I not loved the author's previous books ...... am SO wrapped up in this right now ... EXCELLENT!

Finished 2 days ago and im still thinking about it. Such a great and original plot for the suspense/thriller genre.

I was definitely late to the game reading it as it was released in 2016. If you like a good thriller this is a must read

My SO just finished this and is urging me to move it up my TBR list. It has been on my radar for quite some time. Maybe he is right and I need to bump it on up the list.

I just finished Chaos Choreography by Seanan McGuire. This is a light-hearted urban fantasy series that is just so fun and readable.

Getting started on The Changeling by Victor LaValle. This is BOM for my SF/F group. Fingers crossed for a good read!

I just finished Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris. In one rainy Sunday, I tore through this book. Absolutely couldn't put it down...I just had to find out how things turned out as quickly as possible.

Reading Unmentionable by Therese Oneill. . .hilarious and sobering to think of what women had to put up with in the not so distant past. . .so glad I'm in the world now. . .pretty sure I would have been first on the "to sacrifice" list in past eras. . .

Little Fires Everywhere

I'm about half-way through Little Fires Everywhere. I just joined the club so I'm excited to start on the September book!

I am currently reading lies by T.M. Logan almost done but wow it's kept me guessing lol almost done and can't wait to start the September book!

The Future of Humanity by Michio Kaku and I'm engrossed completely. I won't get to September's book pick until last week of September. I'm saving it in audio form for a really long road trip with my mom. I've never done audio books before, so I hope I get used to it quickly!

I bet you will love audio books - I was never interested in them until I saw I could get the book I wanted free to trial it out and I have never looked back - also my Mum and I enjoy listening together so it is much more companionable ... plus you can do it when too tired to read and of course with your eyes closed so super relaxing to the point of zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz !

I'm reading Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl. So far it's interesting.

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. I'm typically leery of picking up a young adult book but this one has been given such high praise, it was too tempting to pass up. So far, it has been great!

That's on my list of books to read next. Love being transported to different countries and ages. I'm behind on the book club.

LOVING, LOVING, LOVING: Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. . . . of all the books through Sunshine book club - this is the keeper. It is so good. . . .

I'm currently reading two books! 1) The Swing of Things by Linda Keir, and 2) Fear: Trump in the White House by Bob Woodward.

I'm halfway through The Swing of Things and it's really quite sexy but I've read some of the reviews that have said it sort of turns into a psycho-thriller novel towards the end so I'm very excited for that twist.

I just started Fear and I'm only a few chapters in right now, but it's very intriguing. I've very excited for what is to come with the more I read this one. Also helps to stay up-to-date with relevant information these days haha.

Currently reading (actually listening to) The Art of Asking. To listen to Amanda Palmer tell her story is so intimate. I didn't know her, or her music, but I've grown to .... want to know her more, I suppose. I don't know that I would feel the same if I had read the book. For this one, in particular, listening is the way to go.

I read To All the Boys I've Loved Before yesterday, and I loved it. It was such a fun read and made me want to be in high school again.

Hi While I wait for the current book, Where the Crawdads to come in at the library, I am reading which I am really enjoying, quite moving and really makes you think about the impact of dementia.
I've recently found the new 'Over-drive' app called 'Libby' which makes borrowing ebooks and audiobooks really simple and app is easy to use. I am currently listening to Wishful Drinking by Carrie Fisher which is very amusing.

I just finished last night reading - The Last Anniversary by Liane Moriarty. I enjoyed it, not my fav of her but still worth reading.
I'm excited to pick up her new book which is released today in Australia - 9 perfect strangers.... gonna go get it at lunch time.

I'm currently reading Nine perfect strangers by Liane Moriarty. It was released yesterday and I'm already half way through the book.

I'm really enjoying it, I'm still only half way through but I have a feeling that this is going to be my fav of her books. (I have read 3 so far of hers. Without revealing too much, her writing in this book is just next level, just giving us a little bit more each time as we are learning about each character, so funny, relatable and I'm very keen to kind out what happens next......
