not to boast or anything, but I was not very concerned with justifying myself lol. Yes... I'm guilty of having bought them all... I couldn't resist. I had to space them out though, my budget could not handle buying all four at once. ...
I have a problem. I know.

*conflicted*"
yeah, I don't think it's something I can do for all 7 books (if they do it for each book that is). there's the problem of budget, but also the space that it takes on my shelves...

According to Pottermore:
"And if you’re after completing your house-themed set, you’ll be pleased to know that Bloomsbury will also be releasing the next five Harry Potter books in the same style in due course."

i don't need a justification for having all the 4 books oO i just stated that we don't really neeeeeed it. Doesn't mean i don't want it!
Also my patronus is a mink.. oO is that some kind of weasel? they look alike

I am a complete Ravenclaw and my patronus is a Mountain Hare !! Can't wait to see if we will be sorted in our House groups :)
After some nervousness - what if the "official" result isn't what i fondly imagine?!?! - I can confirm that I am Ravenclaw!

You can always join the Earth Day Read-a-thon
There is always a fun reading option @ NBRC *grins*
I’m excited to find out the beater position.

Since the challenge only starts on May 12th, is too far away to make you only finish the book by then.
So, we are not considering it for page points.
BUT

Writing a day's worth of discussion questions = 40 points
Participating in a current BOM (participating in discussion) = 20 points
We will randomize volunteers without considering teams. If you want to apply, check the book discussion thread
Yes, I see that book popping up everywhere. It sounds interesting though the story sounds very familiar from the blurb.

I think there's added interest because of the diversity / #OwnVoices aspect to it. I do have a copy from the library, and am looking forward to it, but it's long, and not a Uno colour cover, so it keeps slipping down!
Not sure if I'll wait for May now, or see if it'll squeeze in for Uno....

Very true, Cat! And I think that's probably the reason I'm going to pick it up at some point as well, even though such highly anticipated books are often miss rather than hit with me.

I find that they are often a miss too - even ones I highly anticipate

Yep. Just let your inner Katniss show *giggles*

I would say that if you want diversity (sexuality & race) plus great story, pretty unique world building & magic systems, then NK Jemisin's Broken Earth trilogy is WELL worth checking out.
It's not straight-forward, with each book having multiple POV (three, with history epigraphs between chapters) and separate but intertwining story lines, but totally rewards you for the effort.
I listened to them on audio, which made it effort free (Robin Miles does an excellent job)
It doesn't have a love story though, so if you want insta-love, teen moonings or a love triangle you are s- out of luck!

I detest insta-love and teen moonings and love triangles, so it's all good :-)
The series is on my TBR!
