Hello, I just love Rhys Bowen’s A Royal Spyness series and L. B. Hathaway’s Posie Parker series. Also enjoy Susan MacNeal’s Maggie Hope series. If you have any recommendations you think I’d enjoy, I’d love to check them out. Thank you!

In addition to Rhys Bowen Molly Murphy have you tried Elizabeth Peters? Amelia Peabody, Vicky Bliss, and other heroines are intelligent, motivated but might be better described as strong rather than spunky. Another to try Jacqueline Winspear Maisie Dobbs.

All of the mysteries you name are historical. Is that what you're looking for? If so, you might like Carola Dunn's Daisy Dalrymple series.

Thank you all for such great suggestions! I just ordered books by three of these authors to give them a try. I do enjoy the Maisie Dobbs books. Maisie, Posie and now a Daisy... haha!
