2025 Reading Challenge discussion

15 minutes is a quarter of an hour - 1.25 implies "one and a quarter" so 1.25 = 1 hour and 15 minutes, not 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Am I cool to just say how many hours and minutes no matter the minutes as I will be keeping an eye on my overall time anyways such as like 1 hour and 6 minutes etc. just to keep my time more accurate?

Same here, mainly because I will be counting my hours and minutes for Dewey’s as well...

Well, this time slot has already passed for me and I slept beautifully lol

Night owl here checking in. I read for 1.5 hours so far. Currently reading An Unkindness of Ghosts by Rivers Solomon. Listening to audiobook at 1.0 speed - works out to be 44 pages.

Read for 1.25 minutes, 100 pages of The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry

I couldn't check in during the time slot because of work (yet I can read, weird job).

I got 1 hour of reading done.

Couldn't check-in during the time slot because I finally fell asleep, but I read 30 min, for a total of 30 min.

didn't check goodreads during the time slot.....but got 2 hours of 24 done :)

Hahaha, same happened to me this morning, wasn't really awake but wanted to check in in the 3-6 time slot, so had to re-read some passages over and over again, not knowing what I had just read lol
