Won't get a lot read because I'm visiting my dad, but at least it's initiative to read whenever I can squeeze it in.

Shaunesay Good luck everyone!

If you'd like, tell us what your reading weather is like, and what your ideal reading spot would be!

I'm in for sunny but slightly cool weather tomorrow it sounds like, and I just got my hammock set back up on the patio, so hopefully I'll get some reading time in it! It does tend to make me sleepy though!

My ideal reading time is during a raging storm, sitting inside a conservatory as the rain dashes on the window panes. Perfect!

Karen (karinlib) | 2108 comments We are in fog right now, but it should burn off to be a beautiful day. My favorite reading spot is in my office/library.

Katherine | 103 comments My favorite reading spot is on my bed or my favorite chair in the living room. :)

message 29: by Shaunesay (new)

Shaunesay It's just about lunch time here, how's everyone doing? I've finished a short book already Thoroughly Modern Monsters by Jennifer Rainey written by the daughter of a friend of mine, which I thought was really good! Now I'm on to Good Guys by Steven Brust and listening to Head On (Lock In, #2) by John Scalzi when I need to run errands or do some chores today.

I'm snacking on some cheesesticks and teddy grahams until the husband is ready to go out to lunch! Do you have a favorite reading snack? Small and crunchy works for me, chips, popcorn, teddy grahams, none of which I should have, but I still like them! ;)

message 30: by Shaunesay (new)

Shaunesay About 3 hours left for me, I'm still working on Good Guys, I hope you've all had a great read-a-thon and got a lot of pages knocked out!

Thanks, Shaunesay. I didn’t read as much as I planned - too many interruptions - so I was a bit disappointed. Hope to do more next time.

message 32: by Shaunesay (new)

Shaunesay I finally finished Good Guys by Steven Brust so I'm off to bed as soon as I do my last Dewey update!
