message 42: by Gabi (new)

Gabi Yeah, it looks like a lot of the classics have had their turned being a banned book! If you need a book for August, just look in the classics section. Almost all the classics I know have been banned at some point! The only one I can think that hasn't is The Old Man and the Sea

message 49: by Gabi (new)

Gabi Don't know what I'm going to do about the November theme. I also love how you picked Nov for the horror theme-perfect because people are still shaken from haunted Halloween hayrides.

Anyone know of a book that's scary or thrilling but won't urge me to sleep with all the lights in the house on? Like, a level 1 scary book, horror reading for beginners! XD I was thinking about Full Tilt but I'm open to suggestions.

message 50: by Aqsa, Dracarys! (new)

Aqsa (her_747) | 10619 comments Mod
Thanks Gabi :)
Unfortunately I haven't read a horror book yet!
But will get to it around Nov, so I don't have any recommendations about that Genre.
But wouldn't you wanna read real horror instead of less-horror stuff when you get to it? That's how you'll know the book was awesome!
But dw I'll be on the lookout for it!
