Crown Princess Rhiannon Ta'an wants vengeance.

Chapters 1-8
(view spoiler)[The story starts the action right away. I am eight chapters in and am finally getting a better idea of who is who and what everyone’s motives might be. I am not awaiting the confrontation between Rhee and Julian, since she was forced to kill Julian’s father. I am also curious the part Aly is going to play with Rhee. Obviously, he is going to have a large role too since every other chapter is about him. Overall, I am finding the book interesting so far. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 9-14

(view spoiler)[I am curious to see why Aly was chosen to be the scapegoat in Rhee’s supposed murder. Also, if Seotra was not the one behind Rhee’s family’s murders and her attempted assassination, then who is? Who can she trust? Although I’m not rushing to find the answers to these questions, I find the book intriguing. However, I hope more female characters are added. I like having a strong female mian character, but everyone else who is important (minus the minor role Tai Reyanna has played) has all been male. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 15-21

(view spoiler)[The concept of the cube is interesting. It would be helpful remembering things, but I’m not sure if feel comfortable having all my data stored in that little cube. I’d be afraid of people stealing my data. Knowing that people can ravage it, and leave you in a memory loop for the rest of your life sounds terrible.

Another female character finally showed up! Kara! Hopefully she proves to be a good character. She has been very helpful to Aly and keeping him from being captured. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 22-24
(view spoiler)[See, the overwriter device is exactly why I was not keen of the idea of the cube. It was just time until someone made something that could steal, erase, or manipulate someone’s memories. I guess if you grew up in a time where having a cube was common, but at the beginning I would’ve been one of the skeptics.

Chapters 25-Epilogue
(view spoiler)[ My biggest complaint was that the characters felt kind of flat. I’m not entirely sure how to explain it because they had unique backgrounds from one another. However, they had nothing that really made them interesting. All of the dialogue was straightforward, and no personality really came out of anyone. Everyone seemed a bit boring. However, the book itself was still okay. I’ll probably read the second book since this one left a lot of unanswered questions.

It sucks a bag of dicks that the princess was attacked by her best friends dad but I'm really proud of her defending her self - even if she did get help. I like Aly as well, but my brain is not recognizing it for a boy's name and I keep thinking it's a girl!! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 12: (view spoiler)[...I'm kind of bored right now. Everything has been predictable - like her being "kidnapped" and stuff. The Aly thing is still messing with my mind. I'm liking the little twists I'm getting.. but still bored. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 18: (view spoiler)[mmkay, now it's all Nero's plan/fault to kill everyone coming into power.. okay. Interesting. I don't know how I feel about Kara's character right now.. but I hope someone kills Nero. (hide spoiler)]
