I can't believe I'm saying this, but, I started The Book of Speculation On Friday and I'm on page 2. I've been traveling so much, when I sit, I fall asleep - unless I'm driving. I'll be home for 7 days, now. I hope to get a couple of books finished.

The Radium Girls: The Dark Story of America's Shining Women Finally making some progress but I know how you feel Linda. I'm in Montreal for 2 weeks now and though I have more time to read, I'm exhausted from all the travel.

Just started and I just finished a fantastic book:

I read A Child's Garden of Verses for my book discussion tonight.

I have read, the Resurrection Men by Ian Ranking. Love the rebus books and am currently reading The Fifth Season and was skeptical but I am really enjoying it.

I loved this book one of those that I wish I had not read so I could read it again. So right it was such a fun book

I am reading The Knowledge: A Richard Jury Mystery and listening to A Taste for Death both my favorite authors of mine. Next up is The Word Is Murder. My favorite book recently was I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer and I also loved The Fact of a Body: A Murder and a Memoir. Beautifully written memoir.

My father read that to me at bedtime as a child. So many happy memories of that book.

Finished two great books this week: A God in Ruins (audio version) and I Was Anastasia. Highly recommend both!

My memory of childhood and that book is very different. My siblings and parents used to play the card game Authors. Robert Louis Stevenson was only one of the authors represented for whom I never read a book.

When I mentioned this game at the book discussion the other night, I was surprised how many of the attendees did not know of that game.

I started listening to It's Even Worse Than You Think: What the Trump Administration Is Doing to America again. (I had to return it before I was finished with it.
