I can't believe I'm saying this, but, I started The Book of Speculation On Friday and I'm on page 2. I've been traveling so much, when I sit, I fall asleep - unless I'm driving. I'll be home for 7 days, now. I hope to get a couple of books finished.

I loved this book one of those that I wish I had not read so I could read it again. So right it was such a fun book



My father read that to me at bedtime as a child. So many happy memories of that book.

My memory of childhood and that book is very different. My siblings and parents used to play the card game Authors. Robert Louis Stevenson was only one of the authors represented for whom I never read a book.
When I mentioned this game at the book discussion the other night, I was surprised how many of the attendees did not know of that game.
