Many's the time when I've looked at a sky at sunset and wished I could paint it.

May 26, Saturday: It is Memorial Day weekend here in the United States, a time to remember military members who have lost their lives while serving. Do you do anything to remember those lost on this weekend?

I make sure that flowers are placed on my father's grave. He did NOT die in service, though he was a veteran.

My husband and I fly the flag and also make a point of visiting his Army buddy who is now in a nursing home.

And we ALWAYS watch the National Memorial Day Concert from Washington D.C., broadcast on PBS stations.

I'm not fond of any of them (LOL) ... but the one I really hate is cleaning the toilets. I love a sparkling clean bathroom, however, so clean them I must ... but I hate it.

Cleaning but I must do it. Bathroom and kitchen are the worst.

I hate dusting. We have so many knick-knacks that it makes it almost impossible.
