Anyway, It can't hurt to make some finally comments on the book in the thread, we might still get buddy read points.

I know...I’d like to learn how to post the moving pics or whatever they are called...can anyone direct me to a simple set of directions to do so? I’m thinking we need to post a crowd of cheerleaders or something...it’s kinda neat how this is orchestrated. I’m so glad I’m not playing this first round...I am nervous for them...

Sounds good Karen!

it is nuts! We're now waiting for the dirty snakes to finish the quaffle book as there's no point in us completing a chain now.
our not so secret victory and support cry is SQUAWK :). If you read the conversation, you'll understand that bit...

BRs should probably have at least 3-4 comments...your call...

By sight this cover just screams yellow. When run through the extractor it's 29% lemon yellow, 6% broom yellow and 12.2% galliano yellow and 3.2% puddy yellow. For a total of 50.4% yellows. But I don't know how the color breakdown thing works since it was made complicated by color extractors instead of just what color pops the most on the cover.

Sounds good Maddy

I'm in it and I am nervous! These balls go fast!! I sucked at dodgeball in high school and I feel like I'm playing dodgeball again with really hard balls and the boys in class are aiming all their balls at me!

I thought about some series that I've enjoyed. First one is The Lunar Chronicles, that was such a fun series that just kept getting better and the audio is amazing. I really liked The Infernal Devices series and A Court of Thorns and Roses series. Oh I love the Creekwood series! Both of those books were fantastic. A fun light series is Darcy & Rachel Something Borrowed and Something Blue

I started late too. The book didn't become available at the library for a while. It's all fine. There are several people. I don't think 2 people can claim the BR points though. I've added a few comments now. I didn't like the book as much as everyone else

Perhaps others will respond to your comments and you can discuss a bit. Let us know if you think it qualifies here at some point...

Yes to the end...Tri Wizard is coming soon and it goes to the end as well. It will be good to put as much of the classes behind us as we can so we can concentrate on the next...but we do have to the end to get it all done...

Classes - Divination (uses fortune telling/divination tools) - Chapter 11 Ernesta uses taro cards to tell Monty his fortune "After a time, Ernesta comes and sits beside me. Her joints crack as she moves. "Would you like me to read for you?" I don't understand what she's asking until she slides a deck of taro cards from a velvet bag slunk at her hip. I almost laugh."

The moving pics are called GIFs. You can just google one and add them as goodreads pics with this (just cope image link, regulate the width and height, take out the stars I inserted in the beginning and end and you are good to go ;) )

Also, right now I feel pretty useless since my Quidditch clue will be in a week :(

This is right. Good explanation Jan!

All good! Does it work for any of the classes?

I used this one for the "classification" of our creature in COMC. You rated it 4* so the classification rating was XXXX.
Hope this makes sense!

I did. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to because Monty was rather obnoxious at first. I do think he grew. All the different issues didn't bother me...I enjoyed that part but it could have been shorter.

Thanks Maddy...I’ll try this tomorrow when I have some time...

Not used in quidditch. I started with the buddy read, but they were faster than I and I stopped after a few comments. So I don't think we can use it for that.
