*I have been (unexpectedly) without WiFi all week which meant phone access/app only. So annoying both for work and for here! Luckily I am headed home tomorrow and will be able to post info more accurately (links etc). Really bummed it took me out of quidditch!

Hey LIFE HAPPENs...we could have used you at Q...it was hectic here and there...funner than I thought it would be. It required a lot of reading to compete...I had to break out my 'speed reading' from college...
@ALL There will be one more round toward the end of the challenge in July...the dates out there. If you want to play, get your name on the 'rooster' list.
1) You really do need to be willing to read quite a lot
2) Announcers must know what they are doing or everyone will be miserable
3) It was fun overall...some of the books the other team had us beaters reading were quite horrible...lucky most were very short...see the chain/list.

I just finished an audiobook this morning. It was okay. I returned it to the library through Libby.
Just logged on to mark it as read...I didn't mark it that I had started it.
Think I can remember what it's called?
NO I CAN'T!!!

Does that system show your history? Can you find it that way?

It made the entire week for work miserable too. What was supposed to be a pretty laid back week turned into a mess. They couldn't help it but it was still awful. Hopefully now that I am back in the land of the internets I can make up for it!

Possible BR. I made a post, but there is not much discussion going on. Mary was also going to read it, so maybe we will chat about it together

I don't think we need letters...I have no idea on the details for the TriWizard Tournament...it was supposed to start yesterday. For now, I'd say we are probably fine with no more letter posting. Great work everyone!
I've taken a few days away from reading...just needed a break after Q and a holiday approaching here in the US brings visitors to my home. Will post a few finishes and then gear up again soon!
Hopefully details on the Tournament are here soon!

I am trying to amp up my reading because I will be on vacation the last week of the challenge. In case I can't get anything read. A lot of people seem to be able to read while relaxing on the beach but I normally can't. I find all the people too distracting.

Well let us hope someone else will remember about it :)

I understand. An idea would be to IM the other participants to see if they are going to read anytime soon...

I'm still planning on joining you! My plans got derailed by a binge-audio of The Greatcoats series plus some Harry Dresden (James Marsters... swoon)

The Tri-Wizard Tournament will be starting soon! Information will be available shortly.
Due to the intricacy of the Tri-Wizard Tournament, we have decided there will not be a Quidditch Match 3.
We want to thank all of the participants of Quidditch!! It was tons of fun to watch!
In case you missed it. the final scores for the first two matches, were:
Quidditch Match 1
Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw 1130 - 1015
Slytherin vs Gryffindor 780 - 1050
Quidditch Match 2
Ravenclaw vs Slytherin 1075 - 970
Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff 1625 - 1335
All points have been added to the individual participants as well to the Houses.

Maddy...here's your answer...another alternative would be to request a BR...

Hey JanE...if they don't announce prior...if you want to leave us a list of books you will 'for sure' read, we can try to account for those depending on the tourney...who knows what they'll come up with!

In the meantime, I joined another BR. I almost suggested it for the book since we just did the first in the series. Came on today to see one starting this Saturday. I already have the book so I might as well join.

How do you like it so far?

So far it is me, Mary and Erin (Team Hermione) so I think it can be marked as BR in submissions
