Hi all! I will be offline until Tuesday night. I plan on reading The Enchanted Wood and Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist while I am gone. Fingers crossed for tri-wizard info soon!

Well in case you travelers are interested - nothing has been announced on Tri-Wizard yet...
At this point, unless they put it up in the next day or two, I might not be able to contribute much to the Tri-Wizard due to my trip to Mexico. Unless books I happen to have recently finished or am already reading happen to work.
I had a lot of reading and audio book time this weekend. half way through Silver Linings Playbook. I had to put it aside for a bit because while it's a really good book, the subject matter (mental illness) is heart breaking. The book gives more insight into Pat's issues than the movie could really do justice.

I'm cool with it going on longer. It's the team captains that should have them main say as they are the ones that do all the tracking and such.
I hope it goes for longer! Will be nice not having to rush through triwiz. Is SLP better than the movie?
I don’t know which is better. I like them both a lot. I highly recommend the book even if you’ve seen the movie. The father is nicer in the movie and they changed a few things. In the book Tiffany is older than Pat but not by much. Other than that, it’s pretty faithful to the book. But the book gives you more of the chaos going on in his head.

It is amazing. I have no words. I knew of the atrocities as everyone does, I guess, but each time I read about it, it gives me chills.

All that want to should sign up to do DQs...to keep things fair they only pick one person from each team, but if not enough sign up it’s possible for 2 from same team to be chosen.
