Nothing But Reading Challenges discussion

Great I'll check it out from the library and start it after I finish Sharp Objects and my cat on cover book (I have these all in ebook). I need a new audio book to start so I'll start The Cold Song for "song in title" task.

I'm really trying to stay out of the maze thread until I catch up on task books again.

I won't add Halfway to the Grave to the spreadsheet until I know we're a go on that one.

All this reading I have been doing lately and I am still 3 books behind on my yearly goodreads challenge.

You’ll love that book Mary...it’s a series I read awhile back and breezed right through it...

I'm actually done with my challenge goal already...too much reading. After this I'm going to go to a snail's pace for the rest of the year...maybe clean my house...my car...etc

Ashley--I came across a conversation in the Room of Requirement about the task--Read a book with a club like object on the cover...I used a hockey stick for the book I read for that...but the conversation in RoR would not likely allow for that. Task is under Half Blood Prince

Well here's a conundrum...I was over in the captains thread and have since learned that 4 different people have to read for the 'Square' challenge...major ARG!

Right now Maria, Jan and I have each read...I read for two
This one is a toughy...because not only do we have to match the corners of the square but the books have to be 'Young Adult'.

The first and last letters of the book connect the square...and we cannot discard articles.

If anyone has something that could work for either of my books..woohoo! Sorry teamies...it didn't really say but the ruling is that the heading explained it. I think what confused is that the relay specifically called our 4 separate players and this one did not.

Anyway...see if you have anything...remember...must be YA
The two books I read:
The Heir (A YA book with first letter of 'T' and last letter of 'R')
OR
The Queen (A YA book with first letter of 'T' and last letter of 'N')...this one is super short...need to make sure you can get this edition if you are going to read this one and not choose something else.

Could it be that this book is not on the spreadsheet and hasn't been marked for "Maze"in title? Is it used somewhere else? I am confused if I have to read a book for that task or not

Thanks Mary--Ashley has been doing all of the submitting. I've just been helping...not much lately...making sure things are on the planning SS. If you have time...you could go back about 1 week and dbl check...but I think Ashley's likely got most things on there...I do know there are a few things missing though...ie I didn't see Jenn's recent books...she's been posting her own...so maybe I just missed them. We've tried to just add at the bottom vs sorting...it's a bit easier than having to go through the whole thing...it's getting quite long as you know.

I was going to add Jenn's book House of Hades but the link brings up a travel guide and from the character names, it's not the Percy Jackson book.

I thought I'd get more added but it's a rare busy day at work for me on a Friday with multiple visitors and the phone constantly ringing.

Yikes, it's been crazy busy the last two weeks. Luckily will have some time to read this weekend and think I will finish three books - one audiobook on my way to and from where I am headed this weekend, the audiobook with my daughter, and then hopefully Daughter of Fortune. My goal is to be able to squeeze in a few more next week depending on what we need to finish up things. It's hard to believe we only have a week to go.

Added all the books from Jenn's post 1872 except House of Hades.

Added Maze of Souls by Jenn to main spreadsheet and to
"read a book with maze in the title" task. I hope it was ok to do that, it looks like Maddy didn't really want to read her maze book.

(I've been using ctrl/f to make sure books aren't on the spreadsheet first)

Thank you Mary :) Maddy ready didn't want to read that book :D I started the first chapter and it was like "no, just no", so I was putting it off and it totally payed off :D

I will read some more no task books to make up for that ;)
