Gah. Maybe I misheard because my Amazon/Google search has turned up nothing and there's a wait list for the ebook or I would do a quick scroll through that. Hopefully I will hear it again if it wasn't a figment of my imagination this morning.

Finished my last task book and working on a few quick books to gather some character letters. If anyone needs a hand with the last of the tasks I'm happy to step in. I can't believe this ends in 2 days!

Will most likely finish another one today (Out of Africa and then my last one (Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind) on Friday. Might try and squeeze in another read on Friday as well since I am off of work. It will depend on how much I get thru today. All of these are character letter contributions and I tried to get letters we needed that were more obscure (Y, U, O, etc).

Is there a countdown yet or a specific time this ends on the 31st? I can't seem to find one. Just wondering if I have all day tomorrow, only to a certain time or even into my Saturday due to time zone differences?

Right now I am reading The Awakening which can apply to either E (Edna) or L (Leonce). I am going to look for a book that works for I next

I think I have a couple of shorter ebooks for Y or U. Any preference as to which I should try to get in, does one help finish a word more than another? This will all depend on if I can finish Half-Way to the Grave early enough and the time it ends for me tomorrow. I'm alone at the office on Fridays and could easily read a short book or maybe even 2 since it's usually dead on the Friday before a Monday holiday.

Do we need someone to read for prophecy or is April going to finish it?

They posted a countdown clock. Challenge ends in 32 hours. That's Friday around 9 pm my time. If I did the math right in my head. I will try to finish Halfway to the Grave tonight and maybe I can knock out a couple of shorter books tomorrow to cover a couple letters. I'm also willing to try and cover an emergency task book if I can and it's needed. But it looks like my book and April's book for Prophecy task are the only out standing books left.

Eeeee countdown! As soon as I saw the Owl Mail post I clicked my audio book up to a higher speed lol

Oh terrific! So since that takes the U the only letter left is Y! We've totally got this.

Yes, I just wanted to update the letters that were being claimed so we could see what was still available/necessary to be read. I am about to edit it one more time to include a book Maddy read for U.

I can definitely get a Y book in tomorrow if no one else does in the mean time. Either way, I'm going to look for a book in the 20 point page range. I don't think I can knock one out longer than that.

Ah, I didn't realize that. Ok for now I will take off the U book until we know for sure from Tammy or Ashley. Thanks Maddy, I got a bit too eager lol

Definitely, we'll see what they say. It'd be great to be able to use an already read book.

Yeah, I am never sure if I will manage to finish the book before RL needs me back, and I would feel bad for letting the team down, so using already read books would settle it and then I can just read as much as I manage without the stress of letting everyone down :)

If we do end up needing a U book and anyone has time The Uncommon Reader is really fun. It's light and has a cute plot and is a fast read, only 120 pages. Also a pretty good audio book. I only just read it in April so I can't do the reread yet :(

I have a Y audio book that I can start tonight and finish in time.

I'll listen to it and if nothing else, it's another 40 points. This going through my work day tomorrow works in my benefit. Fridays are rarely busy and the ones before a Monday holiday are usually dead quiet. I can listen while I catch up on shredding and filing.

I've been reading Halfway to the Grave here and there today at work and plan to stay home and read tonight. Going to take my work Kindle home so it can read to me if needed. Too bad it's too hot to soak in the tub.

Arg, I thought I took out my O book on Overdrive earlier in the day but I just went to start it and I apparently did not. Of course now it's been checked out by someone else. Switching the O book to Othello -listening a bit now and will finish tomorrow unless anyone else has an easy O book they are already reading.
