More books that I have completed are coming soon. I just started posting later than I should have last night and sleep won out.

I finally finished another book. I put it on the spreadsheet as far as details for spells go. I don't know if it fits any class tasks.

werewolves, witches, vampires and fae. The main character, Anna Latham Cornick is an Omega wolf and can/does influence people/wolves with just her feelings or intentionally with her Omega powers. Spells have been used by the witch and the fae. I don't know if that helps with any tasks.

Tammie is this challenge as a team? Or do each of us individually have to do these classes?

If it's a team - maybe we should list out each category and the number of books needed and we can post when we are reading a book to fit that challenge and then you could update that post so that we have an easy visual?

Yes...this is as a team...the tasks are all under the 'Classes' tab on the SpreadSheet. I'm working on a list of tasks for this thread for those who want to by-pass the spreadsheet...it's very long though, but hopefully some will find it helpful.

Current standings...keep in mind we have not posted anything for classes yet and we have completed the 3rd curse, but have yet to post. Hopefully everyone is getting comfortable with the challenge...if you still have questions, please ask...

Just another quick note on points/strategy...the most points can be achieved through reading Book of the Month and/or Buddy Reads. So far I've started 2 Buddy Reads...fairly simple and am participating in the BRs for Harry Potter books. I will start reading for an ARC as I have so many on my kindle right now. That would count for the class of Divination (or are we only allowed to do 1 part of each class?)

I'll also read a "fluffy chick lit" book for Herbology, I've got The Devil Wears Prada which is the first in a series and is 432 pages

Awesome! I'm doing this month's BOM Children of Blood and Bone and am planning on doing one of the BOM in June. I'm also doing a few buddy reads that are starting soon - when they start do I just let you know in this thread?

I joined another buddy read that starts in a few days. A couple of mine don't start until next month.

I've really enjoyed reading Lilac Girls It's quite graphic. I can't read too many of those kind of books in a row, but I do like the 'learning' that goes with reading these kinds of books...

Question. How long do we have to wait before we can reread a book? There are 2 books in the Buddy Read that I read this year.

There are 2 others that I have on my TBR and I can just read those instead of going back except I'm rereading Big Little Lies for a F2F book club and was wondering the rules for repeats

It's a Norwegian book series but the hero travels to Australia in the first book and yes that is a bat wing on the cover. Does that help with a class?

Would "wormwood' count for the word worm?

The word "worm" is mentioned in my book The Accidental Alchemist. It's mentioned as part of a spell recipe.

I just noticed that I never added the Accidental Alchemist and I'll do that now.

Since you gave me my own special sheet on the spreadsheet, I'm going to use that to track my buddy reads. If I can find them all. I've lost track.

Good find Mary! Worm needs to relate to the same thing. So worms is okay but woodworm is something different.
