Dylan nodded slightly. He smiled a softly st her. “Then let’s go..” he said softly, heading out into the hall and waiting for her to come out too. He walked down to the car and put the last two boxes in.

Dylan closed the trunk and got back in the car. He glanced st his phone before starting the car and starting to drive back to the estate. He glanced over at Blair, Making sure she was alright.

Dylan drove quietly, not minding the quiet between them since it didn’t feel awkward or anything. “Uhh. Something interesting.. do you mean like a trait, a hobby, something specific I’ve done or what?” He asked in reply, coming up with answers for all the options He listed.

Dylan nodded. “Okay. Hmm.” He thought for s moment. “I’m really extroverted unless I’m tired. a hobby; I really like doing puzzles. And something interesting I’ve done, I don’t know. I’ve done lots of interesting stuff.” He answered, shrugging at her.

“You saw me talking to practically everyone yesterday.” Dylan commented with a shrug. “I like being around people. Being alone is way too quiet for me honestly.” He explained as he drove. “Yeah. They are. I’ll do like regular board ones or rubix cubes or whatever. They’re all fun to me.” He glanced over at her. “What about you? What are some interesting things about you?”

Dylan nodded as he listened to her. “What music do you like to play and what instruments?” He asked curiously. He wanted them to keep talking and so they could both Learn a bit more about each other.

Dylan smiled and nodded. “Three instruments, that’s pretty impressive.” He complimented. He’d learned piano years ago but wasn’t sure how much he remembered of it, if anything. “Perhaps I could hear you play sometime?” He asked, glancing at her.

Dylan smiled and nodded. “That sounds like it would be awesome. To just have such a creative and artistic family.” He commented, glancing at her. He kept himself from asking about her family, not wanting to make her uncomfortable or anything when they were still Sorta getting to know each other.

Dylan nodded slightly. “May I ask what happened and why you’re not around them anymore?” He said hesitantly after a moment. He glanced over at her, Slowing down a little bit as they neared the estate so they could talk for a bit longer.

Dylan listened quietly to her story. He nodded slightly. “That makes sense. It. It must have been interesting to grow up in a world like that..” he commented quietly, not quite sure what to say in response to hearing how bad her actual family was.

Dylan nodded. “They’re still family.” He agreed. “it makes sense to want what’s best for your daughter. And hopefully you’ll have that now.” He shrugged slightly at her. “Sorry. I’m not quite sure what to say..”

Dylan nodded slightly. “Yeah.” He agreed softly. He parked the car in front of the estate. “The same goes for you too if there’s anything you want to ask of me.” Dylan told her with a shrug, shutting off the car.

Dylan shrugged. “Sorta. I don’t know. I never really know what to tell people about myself.” He replied, getting out of the car. He grabbed a couple boxes from the trunk to carry inside and to her room with her.

Dylan shrugged. “Uhh. Yeah. I guess so.” He replied, glancing at her. He smiled and walked back towards her room with her. “If you’d like, I can bring in the rest of the boxes and you can start getting your stuff unpacked and settled in?” He offered as they walked.

“Sure.” Dylan smiled and nodded. “That way you can get settled in and not have to worry about doing it later.” He shrugged at her.

Dylan nodded and set the boxes down. He went back out to the car a couple more times, bringing in the other boxes for her and setting them down. He set the last box down for her and glanced over.

Dylan smiled a bit. “You’re welcome. Is there anything else I can do to help you get settled in?” He asked, wanting to help. He ran a hand through his hair, feeling a bit awkward with just standing there.

Dylan nodded slightly. “Alright..” he opened up one of the other boxes and started helping her unpack. “Think of any questions yet?” He asked curiously, wanting to keep talking to her.

“My birthday is on Halloween.” He answered. “When’s yours?” He asked curiously. Dylan thought for a moment on the favorite seasons part. “Probably autumn or winter. Less bugs and creatures to avoid and it just gets really nice looking out. Also the weather isn’t burning hot.” He shrugged at her and helped unpack.

“Huh. We both have birthdays on holidays. And same favorite seasons. That’s pretty cool.” Dylan smiled at her. “If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you pick to go?” He asked curiously as he continued to help her.

Dylan nodded slightly. “Those are both pretty cool places. Mine would be Iceland.” He answered with a shrug. He looked over at her when she came over to him

Dylan shrugged slightly. “I just want to see the northern lights honestly. That’s the main reason.” He answered, looking over at her. He smiled a bit at her.

Dylan nodded slightly. “Well. I do travel decently often for various things. Perhaps you could come with on some of those trips.” He offered with a shrug, looking over st her.

Dylan shrugged. “Yeah. Why not? There’s always people from here traveling with me, usually to keep me in check and on time for stuff. Bit there’s always some free time to go explore and whatever.” He answered, looking over at her.

“You won’t intrude. The only thing that would be a part of it is making sure I show up to stuff but I’m usually pretty good about managing myself with that so it’d be fine.” He smiled and shrugged at her. “So we’ll see.” Dylan assured, continuing to help her unpack.

Dylan nodded slightly. “So have you figured out who I am yet?” He asked randomly, not expecting her to have figured it out. He continued to help her, setting the empty boxes out of the way.

Dylan nodded. “Sorry. I meant like what i did. Like if you had any guesses. Cause I’ve told you all sorts of stuff and it seems like it would be confusing..” he clarified, shrugging st her.

Dylan shrugged. “Fair point. I should probably tell you though..” he commented. “I’m Dylan Montcroix. I’m one of 4 dukes of like the country..” he told her simply.

Dylan shrugged at her. “Yeah.. I just figured I should probably let you know now before it gets confusing or something..” he explained, looking over at her.

Dylan nodded slightly. “Yeah. It’s sorta more politics than anything. I can help take stuff to courts and legislatures for the area I’m responsible for and stuff like that.” He explained, shrugging. “And hen I’ll try and do all sorts of social and political stuff both around her and abroad..”

Dylan shrugged slightly. “I said that I’d be willing to meet others in like the same class or whatever but I wasn’t gonna let someone choose who I was gonna marry. So I’m just trying to find my person still.” He explained, looking over st her.

“Yeah. Besides. I’m only 22. I’ve got plenty of time to figure it out.” Dylan agreed. He grabbed the last box and helped her unpack it. “Well at least you probably won’t have to move again for a while.” He shrugged at her.

Dylan smiled and nodded. “Yep.” He looked around. “I think you’re all unpacked now too.” He commented, glancing at her.

Dylan nodded slightly. “You’re welcome.” He smiled a bit at her. “And I dunno. We can go find your daughter. Walk around. I can let you be. Whatever you’d like really.” He answered, looking over st her.

“I don’t have anything I have to do today.” Dylan shrugged. “So we can keep talking in here or go wherever.” He offered, smiling a bit st her.

Dylan smiled and nodded. “Sure.” He headed to the door and waited for her to be ready to go. He glanced at his phone and checked in with rowan to find where they were again in case Blair wanted to find Arianna.

Dylan smiled back at her and nodded. “Yep.” He followed her out of her room and looked around. “Any particular place that you’d like to go?” He asked her curiously, having shown her around most everywhere already.

Dylan nodded. “Sure.” He smiled a bit and walked with her to one of the doors that would lead outside to the garden. He opened the door and held it for her. “What’s your favorite flower?” He asked randomly, curious and just wanting them to keep talking.

Dylan nodded slightly as he listened to her. He smiled a bit. "I like roses too, just not the traditional ones." He answered. "So like meteor shower and Osiria roses." He explained, shrugging at her as they walked together.

Dylan smiled and nodded. “Yeah. I can do that. As I said, I’m the only child. But my father has s bunch of siblings. So they’re all various dukes and then their children got their titles when they stepped down so there’s I think 5 others that are connected to my family and we’re spread out all over. They’ll all be here during some of the summer and holidays for parties and whatnot. This place is the biggest, both inside and outside.” He summarized as they kept walking, trying not to tell her any useless information.

Dylan smiled a bit and nodded. “We have like a paper mapped out version somewhere if you’d like to see it. I’d have to find it first though since I’m honestly not sure who has it lately and where it’s kept.” He offered, shrugging at her. “And you’ll most likely meet some of them. When they’re here, it gets crazy busy for all the people here just since it is so many people to tend to and whatnot.” He explained, glancing over at her.

Dylan looked over st her. “You could. She might be curious to know about it after growing up with just you and then with a bunch of strangers. I dunno” He shrugged at her. He nodded In agreement. “Yeah. It’s always nice. Just hectic I suppose.” He explained, smiling a bit. “But that’s just how things are with family it seems.”

Dylan smiled and nodded. “That sounds like a good idea.” He walked with her out into the garden, looking around. He smiled and glanced at her as they started so walk through it.

Dylan nodded slightly. “That’s good. Hopefully it’ll feel more like a home for you too then..” he agreed softly, looking over at her. He followed her as they wandered through the gardens

Dylan smiled and nodded. “Then I’m glad I could help give this better life to you and your daughter..” he shrugged at her. “And just. If there’s anything you ever need, just let me or someone know. We can probably get it.”

Dylan nodded slightly, looking over at her. “I know.. I just wanted you to know that you can ask for anything you might need down the road and we’ll get it..” He explained with a slight shrug.

Dylan nodded. He stopped beside her. “That’s cause it can be a wide variety of stuff, depending on what you are good at and whatever..” he replied. “We can always use more help everywhere around here from getting rooms cleaned up or just maintained, to tending this garden, to helping wait on the guests here and it goes on and on..” he shrugged at her.

“And you can always switch around too or whatever. It always varies a bit on where we need more help at the time depending on what’s going on around here.” Dylan assured. He looked over st her and smiled a bit.

“Alright.” Dylan nodded. “It’ll be a few more days though probably. That way you have a bit of time to adjust to here and see some of the stuff that’s always going on and to get Arianna settled in as well.” He explained, looking around the garden. He liked being out there too, it being a calm place that was almost always empty of people.

“I know. I can get my stuff done later though..” Dylan shrugged. “None of its that important that it can’t wait a little bit.. plus, you’re not set up with a phone to get in touch with whoever you might need to.” He added, glancing over at her.
