Hey everyone. I am new to this group. I found it though a link on Facebook about the Summer Reading Challenge. I have decided to do the beginners challenge along with a few extra that I added in from the expert challenge. I tried to use some that were on my want to read list that fit the categories. The rest I Googled the subject matter and read through list until I found something that seemed interesting.

Starting off with #18 My What Big Teeth You Have- Heartless by Marissa Meyer

I already had this one checking out on my Kindle through my library. I have been trying to read it forever and couldn’t get through the 1st few pages. It’s still a slow read for me. Maybe because I have never read any of the Alice in Wonderland books. Some of the references in the book are probably going on but some of them I am recognizing from the movies that were released the last few years. I’ll update again when I get finished.

I really like Heartless and I've never read the original Alice books either. I actually have never seen the original cartoon version of the movie either! I immediately picked up a copy of the original book. Its on my my huge TBR. lol
