I had to dig through my pile of paperbacks (I read mostly ebooks now so didn't take too long, lol) and I actually found a sheikh romance!

I used to buy those old harlequins in bulk so I have quite a few sheikh romances somewhere in the boxes. LOL.

Yes, demon is in the description. That's sufficient. I'm not usually a fan of the demon/magic/shifter type stuff. However, I did like Mind Magic.

Hainted was excellent -- this has demon listed on page 3 of its shelves.

for Angels - Stephanie Hecht has a series -I think some of the later ones are long enough

Have you read Jordan L. Hawk SPECTR: Volume 1 ? I'm trying that for demons. I've really enjoyed everything else I've read by her, so I'm hpoing I'll like this as well

it looks like it was an online extra only...you can read the whole thing on the harlquin website ;) that being said, she does have a LOT of sheikh books that you could look at in print/kindle

I've noticed the same thing, Pamela Su!

I finished Shield of Winter for my Urban Fantasy pick and it was awesome. It's going to be very unlikely that UF won't be my number one ranking for this set of books.

I read Call of the Trumpet and The Lady's Tutor a while ago. I remember I really liked Call of the Trumpet. They're both listed as sheik books. I'm still looking to find a good one to read.

UF is one of my favorite genres, too. I'll have no trouble finding a book to read for that category. :)

American Historical- The Bride Bargain 8/5 3* - Lots of sex, but the story did give me a sense of the American West in the late 1800's, and there was a nice amount of emotion in the story as well. Enjoyable, easy read.

I'm trying to get through my American historical, but it's rough going. I'm sure once I get into the story it will be better, but it's tough.

which one you reading Sassy?

I've read 3 of my 5 and so far UF is in the lead for me. I just have my American historical and a shiek book left to read.

I have Shield of Winter on hold at my library, so I am glad it was so good. I really like that series and have been looking forward to that book.

that wasn't one of her best books - go short and smutty! Emma Lang/Beth Williamson have some historicals that are in the 150-200pg range

UF- The Nightlife: Las Vegas 8/7 (3.5*). This is the second in the series and if possible, more violent and over the top than the first. It was a pretty quick read, and never a dull moment with these characters.
Regency-The Courage to Love 8/8 (3*). I am burnt out on Regency so I picked one that had a little extra spice. I liked it but didn't love it. A few strange plot points but I really liked the guys.
Sheikh- The Sheik and the Christmas Bride (Desert Rogues, #11) 8/13 (3.5*) I enjoyed this sheik/nanny romance. Strange plot twist thrown in unnecessarily late in the story, but otherwise a nice read.
Angel/demon- His Devious Angel 8/11 (2*) Not very well written. Cute premise but could have been so much better.
American Historical- The Bride Bargain 8/5 (3*) - Lots of sex, but the story did give me a sense of the American West in the late 1800's, and there was a nice amount of emotion in the story as well. Enjoyable, easy read.

I finished my Angel/demon selection, Archangel's Blade. I was at a *4.5 star* rating until the end when it just seemed to rushed to get to the conclusion. After all the build up to the big reveal, I felt let down now they just hurried the ending along. It's still an amazing series and I did enjoy the book up until that part. I give it *4 STARS*

Now, I must try to get through these historicals.

3 of 5 books completed. :) Regency and urban fantasy left!

I finished the rest of my books. They were all enjoyable reads. I put them at 3.5 stars which I rounded up to 4. So, I finished my rankings. The top two spots were easy but the last three were essentially a tie.

Great job! And fast reading! :)
