20.6 Seasoned Reader – Balletbookworm’s task: Ballet Slippers and Books
I chose Option 4. I read Take the Lead by Alexis Daria (approved for length, line 2570). The female main character is Gina, a ballroom dancer on a reality show called the Dance-Off, and this quote is from Gina's introduction in the first chapter (since the GR description isn't quite clear that Gina is the professional dancer, not the celebrity):
"When Jordy gave the go-ahead, she waved at the camera. 'I'm Gina Morales, a pro dancer. I'm on my way to meet my celebrity partner for season fourteen of The Dance Off.'"
(Glad I finally got this one done - it would be a little embarrassing if I didn't finish my own task. LOL)
